Academy product Lewis Walters signed his first professional deal with the club in March 2013 after progressing through the ranks at Thorp Arch.

Lewis, a Leeds fan, joined the Academy from Pannal Ash after impressing in the Harrogate Sunday Leagues.

He earned rave reviews for his displays in both the Under-18s and Under-21s sides and summer 2014 saw him travel with the first-team squad for the pre-season training camp in Italy.

Walters impressed, scoring in the 16-0 win over FC Gherdeina, but an injury picked up in the defeat at Mansfield upon return to England ruled him out for the start of the campaign.
