Let everyone write us off. I have listened to the pundits and the previews and surprise surprise they have us at rock bottom and with absolute certainty we are going down in 20th position. Let them all write us off and let the visiting players listen to all the talk and let them believe it because when coming to the Lane they will have in the back of their mind it’s three easy points, it’s going to be a walk in the park most are thinking. Very similar talk when we came up to the championship we had no chance and would struggle to stay up especially with the system we play. They say with our centre backs coming forward we will get hammered. But if we sit back and defend we will get hammered.

We will take the fight to them and we will be relentless in our approach. We have the best manager and we have the best supporters and we have a team that will surprise a lot.. then to see the face on the pundits as if they have been smacked by a wet haddock will be all the more sweeter.

We will stay up and we will finish higher than a lot of people think

I read what the BT "Super Computer" predicated and well it's pointless us staring the bloody season, going to get hammered at Ballmouth. Let's do what United do best ignore the hecklers and just get on with it, we know our strengths and weaknesses, we know we could get thumped sometimes but we will thump others mark my words. I want United to stay up with ease then we can have the world's biggest Humble Pie morning for all the moaning no now't twats and happy Yorkshire Day 1 and all.

Wipe the smile off the smug bastards faces after we have turned over a few teams that’s for sure

we won't get hammered by bournemouth. brooks has done his ankle, out for 3 months minimum

I reckon we will finish above Norwich, Burnley,Palace,Bournemouth and even Villa who have spent huge ammounts of dosh on some players i never heard of.
We have a strong mental attitude in the side and now with increased quality we could surprise some of the "experts" who only see our name and not our strengths. UTB.

I don’t think we’ll see anyone in the media big enough to admit being wrong should we stay up,I’m expecting them to say we were an unknown quantity, and that we’ll have been ‘found out’ for the 2020/21 season

It’s actually a positive and gives us an advantage that many pundits and neutrals have written us off.
They suspect we’ll be a Warnock side that’s organised and battles working so hard.

So I’m really looking forward to seeing Mark Lawrenson and Gary Linneker scratching their heads when we outplay some PL clubs playing high quality passing football.

Really believe it’s possible that Wilder will become big news and very fashionable within the next 9 months.
I’m predicting now, that Adrian Durham will be singing Wilders praises saying Wilder should be the next England manager
Then he’ll be asking callers to phone-in asking the question
‘Is Chris Wilder the best pound for pound manager in the PL”?
He’ll be saying that Wilder is better than both Gaurdiola or Klopp and those clubs (Liverpool and Man City) should be aiming for Wilder as their next manager.

Obviously I don’t agree with the above but Adrian Durham on Talksport loves to be controversial, so if we’re comfortable mid table then saying Wilder is a better manager than Gaurdiola and Klopp is the type of stuff he comes up with to attract callers and publicity for his radio station.

Its only us and Burnley that are not media Darlings , Burnley are well established now , so it`s easy to pick us , they think Wilder/Knill are twerps for stating they will stick to the same style of play , but these two soccer Gods have come good before . Expect Billy to be top scorer again .

It's not me saying we'll get hammered by Ballmouth, it's the pundits & this so called BT super Computer, I personally think we'll stay up with plenty to spare.

Why are Norwich seen as a better prospect than us? Is it because they've got foreign players and a foreign manager, thus making them automatically better?

They've spent 750k this close season, and we finished the season about 5 points apart.

How many points did Adrian Durham say we would have at Christmas?

A good encouraging win at Bournemouth, a stylish performance and bramall lane will be rocking against palace .....and its llliiivvveee for everybody to see.soon change their opinions

lets relive the 17 18 predictions
some crackers in amongst them
owls in the playoffs,,,, for starters

sunderland in play offs edging out wolves

Norwich as a club are instantly forgettable. The reason they aren’t taking the flack like we are, is they’re simply not interesting enough to satisfy the media feeding frenzy. They’ve not really shown their hand yet and have kept their heads well below the parapet. The media seem to have arms length fascination with Wilders achievements, his marmite persona have endeared him to a lot of people but many have unfairly cast him as a bit of a throw back. To be honest Farke never gets linked to other managerial vacancies like our Chrissie, Farke is only here until Norwich start losing games whereas Chris is here ( Prem) for the long haul. Whether it’s with us or another club.

I suppose over the last 3 seasons that’s all pundits and fans of other clubs have done to us. Plays right to the wilder mantra “point to prove policy”. Let’s hope we can once again prove our doubters wrong.

Plus let’s play good football because I keep hearing pundits compare us to Cardiff and it’s pi**ing me off!

Lap it up and laugh our bollocks off this time next year when we've proved them all wrong. Fuck em all
