That’s been a good game of football that on the balance of play, attacks and chances, we’ve been the better team and should have won.

There’s two reasons why we haven’t:

1. Their keeper has had an absolute worldy - it happens, can’t help it.

2. We’ve got 3 players in the back 4 that can’t defend and look like a bunch of amputees trying to herd cats. And a keeper missing any sort of confidence and possible any sort of quality. - This needs to be solved in the summer.

We fix that and we’ll be fine. We don’t and we’ll struggle.

Holgate was our best defender last match, the only one to come out with some credit and he gets dropped.

Who's head does that fall on 🤔

So the better team apart from the keeper and three of the back 4?

It's not been a 4 one for sure but our defensive work and keeper is poor and our midfield and strikers not clinical enough

But it's all undone in by the fact if you get a shot on target, which we easily allow, you are likely to score

Yeah. Unfortunately that kills your chances of getting a result at any level of football. Priority number 1 in the summer

Simple fact is we are awful at defending, not bad at going forward and pretty dire at finishing chances.
Been a bloody long season, too many average half hearted players.
Def a clear out of the ones going through the motions needed.
Have to stick with Wilder, mind you, if he continues with this keeper he can go f himself. UtB

Hello Mrs Wilder.

It was a good game between a Premier League/Championship team and a pathetic bunch of non descript non league cunts.
Three seasons as a Premier League club means at least 350 million quid has come in, plus parachute payments for two seasons taking it to about £450 million in the last five years.

Ok, so we got relegated, we'll do what all other relegated Premier League clubs do, we'll offload our superstar players and bring a couple of hundred million in to help our cause in the Championship. Errr yeah right.

The season I've watched....piss poor keeping, weak as piss defending, no creativity in midfield and piss poor finishing. Other than that, we've been brilliant this season.....well the open started it.

That wasn't a good game of football. You had a poor team, can't win games of football and are a rubbing rag side for the majority of teams at this level. Then you have Sheffield United, snatching at the couple of half chances we have, gifting goal after goal to the opposition, sitting so deep it's like an 8 1 1 formation, and all in our own half which results in games like today. One piss poor team sits back till the other piss poor team scores and it's as good as game over.

it wasn't an exciting game, all over at two nil and in the end, a bit of a walk in the park for the piss poor team that had more energy than our bunch of spineless, clueless cunts.

We don’t have to stick with wilder in my opinion , he got lucky with O’Connell , once he got injured it was game over and wilders stats nosedived

We were the better team for sure.

But we defend like U9s.

The goalkeeper is the worst ever.

It’s hard to win football matches.

I said similar.

On the balance of play, that's a 2-2 draw today.

I was happy when I heard Muric was playing. Man of Match for me.

My lad played against the Academy Under 12s last night and the energy, tenacity and aggression put the first team to shame. The centre mids for them would have made more tackles than Hamer and Souza today.

We're so far off it energy and aggression wise it's not even funny.

Burnley weren't great either. We just gifted them goals and didn't take our chances.

2 worst teams in the PL, both getting relegated.

Rebuild defence for next year and send grbic off for some hypnotherapy.

It's not doom and gloom, we need a clear out and we need a transfer window.

Two terrible sides in a shit show. They wanted it far more, kept organised and got some luck. You’re right about their keeper

We still have 9 players in squad that were playing under Wilder in previous Prem journey
Can he remain objective enough in the current situation?

Being realistic, this was Burnley, not Liverpool or City, a team who have been vying for bottom spot all season and we were ill equipped to cope with them tbh. Whatever the manager and coaches are teaching during training beggars belief, we thought Hudson was the problem, but obviously not the case, these lads are not premiership standard but surely they ought to be better than this

Burnley were exactly what I expected - decent on the ball, an attacking threat, youthful, but utterly suicidal in defence.

Even their keeper was exactly as advertised - he twice donated us the ball in dangerous positions, but also made some incredible saves.

In sum, any competent premier league team should roll them over. That’s why they’re second bottom.

They were better than us yet are also crap but not as crap as us (1-9 supports that )
Don’t build your hopes up on next season but looking at the players we’ve been linked with so far god help us a Luton reserve who plays in league 1 when he gets picked and a 33 year old out of contract
