The only position I can see Leonard playing at this level is RCB of a three.

But Basham was excellent there last night and throughout last season.

As Leonard doesn’t seem to have the technical ability to play CM in the Championship I am struggling to see where he gets a start, unless Bash gets injured.

Leonard is here to fill the gaps and to be honest he can fill them anywhere. He can play RWB / CB / CM.

In the game against Bradford, I thought he played well. The link-up down the right between him, Baldock, the midfield and the front two looked devastating at times. Technically looked strong, positional awareness was great and he looked as mobile, and I'd say a little more composed than Bash, when surging forwards. Hoping for him and Holmes to come good and really make an impression this season.

I like the look of him at RCB. He's the perfect build for it. Really does look solid and strong. I want to see plenty of him there but I struggle to see him starting many games at all.
