Either way, I think I say on behalf of fucking everyone here, thank you Leon. You appear to have literally zero character in front of the camera, but seem like everyone’s best mate in the dressing room so you’re obviously a proper lad away from the camera. I take great pride in being right about everything in terms of football. I’m never knowingly wrong. However, I was really annoyed when we signed you because I thought you were a washed up journeyman that could offer us nothing. I’ve never been more wrong about anything in all my life. Thank you for humbling me and treating me to some of the best moments on the kop I’ve seen since Kabba’s volley against forest. I hope you manage to get a decent contract somewhere and score some goals and be the main man somewhere. We signed you as a controversial signing from Bury for 50 grand and you scored 4 in one game in the championship in front of the kop. You scored twice at Hillsborough in a game against the team that finished their last season in the playoffs as a lone striker and we scored 4 goals. You go down in folklore forever for the narrative around that game. 50 grand off bury.
