Chaps,

Been impressed by Leighertwood at Reading. Never rated him at BDTBL, now turned into a useful player. Not the quickest, but he is good play-maker at Reading. Saw Dyer score again last night, pity we didn't make the loan deal permanent. Was that Blackwell?

Good to also see Mark Bunn on TV last night. Forgot about him. Another useful player. Oh well, am sure Derby fans are saying the same about Porter!

Mark Bunn? Useful?

Leggy? Play maker?

I'm off for a lie down. o_O

Thats funny, most Derby fans i know are glad they saw the back of Porter, whilst at the same time they think Jamie Ward is some sort of Messi of the Championship!

It was Blackwell that didnt give Dyer a proper chance until near the end of his loan spell.
When he did he ripped Wolves apart at their place.
We offered Dyer something (could have been loan extension not sure) he turned us down and then went straight to Swansea I think

I have never seen any footballer dwell on the ball like Leigertwood at his time at the Lane.

Has he no ambition! Jeez

I too saw that match at Wolves when Dyer was brilliant. On that day I thought we had a very good team.

I wish Blackwell had been as good at procuring players as he was at grinding out points.

It got me thinking. Did Blackwell make any signings that were sold for more than we paid, not including lads brought in from the youth set up?

And what was his biggest waste of money or lost opportunity?
