That problem is NOT the EFL. That problem is the insanely poor public transport service and infrastructure we are (apparently) prepared to accept. You and me "vote" for this shite year in year out.
If voting made a difference, they wouldn't let us do it. It's not the voting that's the issue - no one purposefully votes for shite anything - it's the shrugging of shoulders, sitting back and just blindly accepting it that's the problem, as I think you may have alluded to.

I'm on a trip to The Ashes in that hotbed of activism, Australia.

Obviously, all travel is free on matchdays if you have a ticket for the cricket. In Perth, all travel is free on Sundays if you use an "Oyster Card" type thingy. Here in Brisbane, any single journey is capped at 50 cents/25 pence.

A journey from Varsity Lakes, on the Southern Gold Coast, to Gympie North, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. A journey of 261 km. Which takes just over three hours. Twenty Five Pence.

I mean. I'm alright Jack. I've got a South Yorkshire Senior Bus Pass. But when you see what is possible in other countries. It's an eye opener.

ps - I Vote. I will continue to Vote.
