‘His goal scoring record is abysmal. “

Isn’t he a centre half? It’s akin to saying ‘Yeah granted Shearer could take a penalty but has anyone seen him save one? Fucking liability’

A big Aussie cunt at the back who takes no shit is exactly what we need. I’ll take his attacking ‘frailties’.

He's a CH who looks like he has a foot to spare over most of the others on the pitch. Only time I've seen him I thought "Shit, he's going to have field day at set pieces" but I don't think they hit him once from corners or wide free kicks. I actually thought it was the takers getting it wrong but it could be he isn't much good at getting on the end or putting it in when they do so he might just be a decoy.

Appreciate your point but I would expect him to nod a few in with his physical advantage so it'll be a slight disappointment if he doesn't. On the other hand if he figures in a defence who are keeping clean sheets (or at least only allowing Grbic related goals) he'll do for me.

It's a lower level of opposition, but he scored 11 goals for Australia. I don't know if Anel will playing at right back ( or will even be with us after transfer window), but Anel and Robinson both have good goal scoring records, plus with Souttar and Moore, we are going to be a real handful at set pieces, particularly with Burrows and Hamer standing over the ball.

Sounds much like Maguire.

That'll do for me.

Agree, one of the more positive player feedbacks we’ve seen.

Was slightly underwhelmed about this signing but the Stoke and Leicester fans have seen him more than me, so now feeling positive about this.

Well done Blades, another piece of good business.

Really weird that the one weakness they all agree on is he crap at attacking set pieces you'd think being half a foot taller then everyone would make you good at that. Ah well seems a decent player
I would have agreed with you before watching Berge

..not if the parent club is in a league above.
Most loans from Prem sides are for their 'promising young players'. They hoover up all the young players for peanuts which stops the lower down clubs getting them. Then they send them out for experience.

Yes you can pick up young loans that do well. The better loans are normally those who have a season or more experience out on loan previously.

Context is everything and I fully expect Roy to edit other fans posts prior to publishing. As such I don’t doubt that the poster had other things to contribute. My comment was out of amusement to be honest.
