Oh joy
Great demotion. To the overriding authority.Wonder if that’s a demotion after a poor performance.
In PL, VAR cannot revert a non penalty decisionThree penalties in our favour please Mr Mason.
To inflict him on us for a second time.

Well apart from someone trying to remove Norwood’s leg of course as I’m sure you already knowTechnically third, he did the VAR at Bournemouth, nothing contentious there as I recall.

Did you watch Chelsea match tonight? The handball was very similar to Ward-Prowse's last Saturday. VAR made the ref change his mindThat’s not true Silent, it can. There was a VAR review for our penalty shout, hence the delay in taking the corner.
Of course we know it’s such a high bar to overturn a decision it’s barely worth having, but it is theoretically possible - just the VAR chaps don’t have the bollocks to do so.
EDIT: Sorry, unless you mean it can’t look at anything non penalty related? In which case, correct, only fouls in the box, or red cards.
As funny as that may have seemed sometime, somewhere, maybe in a different universe, it wasn't and now I have to try and forget it.Her’s a photo of Lee Mason in the VAR booth....View attachment 61426
Give me an example when a referee missed a handball in a PL match and VAR made him change his mind? That’s not true Silent, it can. There was a VAR review for our penalty shout, hence the delay in taking the corner.

It is a pity we aren't doing the same as the Champions League. It is strange that in PL games VAR can overrule a goal or a penalty award but cant overrule a non penalty award. There are no examples, because the problem we have at the moment is VAR is doing everything it can to not go against the referee's decisions. So it isn't that VAR can't tell a referee to award a penalty when he hasn't done, it's that VAR won't tell the referee to award a penalty.
