On “marginal gains” according to the commentator on sky just now. He measures the length of the grass at away games so he can tell his players wether to put extra weight on the passes or not. The special tool he uses apparently costs 250 quid..
If anyone know Chris will they let him know I can get him one for £1.99. It’s called a tape measure.

"So Aden - I'd like an extra 10 Newtons on those backpasses today".
"What's a Newton gaffer?"
"Never mind."

And if it rains?

Think he migjt need a new one after tonight's result :D

With Brizzle losing 1 - 0 to low flying Bolton tonight, the small task of wupping Wolves's arses tomorrow means we go a paltry 2 points behind them

Bring it on :D

I thought he was quite honest after they beat us. I find him nondescript and bland. I hope they are having a big wobble and we can overtake them

They lost to Bolton tonight. So that is £250 well spent by Lee Johnson then.

Johnson is no fool,if he can gain a small percentage advantage by doing this fair enough.
I remember when we got relegated in 75-76 we played Man Utd at Old Trafford it was very early in the season and I thought at the time the grass was very long to play football.T Doherty was there manager was there manager and had just got promotion to division 1. He had built a very young team with bags of pace, they ran us ragged and beat us 5-1 ,I always thought that the ball was holding up in the extra long grass which played into their hands.Nothing ever was mentioned about this but I thought it was deliberate and gave them an advantage. We had Woody &Curry playing but we were put to the sword cruelly
We never really got going that season at all and we're doomed by March.
So maybe Johnson has method in his madness small margins in football ,he obviously feels it helps.
Maybe he has talked to the Doc and has took it on board..
Just a bit of useless history from me !!!!
