Or perhaps a couple of players who feature in the League Two team. John Egan of Gillingham is in the League One team, he had an unsuccessful loan spell with us a few years ago.

not a blade anywhere near it

may i suggest that any one of these players that misses out on promotion should be signed immediately.

Not surprised that zero Blades were in the team, we've been shite.

Wasn't that Bradley Dack supposed to be a decent player, i only know that as people were banging on about him not being fit to start against us the other week. I've personally never heard of him

Anyone know much about Rico Henry at Walsall? 18 year old left back, although we have this young irish lad thats been on the bench a couple of times

Good to see Adam Armstrong in there, he's actually on loan from Newcastle. I met him a couple of years ago in a karaoke bar on Bar Street in Pafos, Cyprus. He was clearly inspired by my rendition of 'Green, Green Grass of Home' at 4 in the morning

Obviously why he went to Coventry :o

No way should Armstrong be in it, he hasn't scored for half a season. Thought it was supposed to be team of the season, not the team of August to December.

Egan has obviously improved and is one of the best centre halves in the division. We couldn't afford him now.

Wildschut's barely played in half the games so he shouldn't be in.

Biggest joke of the lot is Nicky Ajose's omission. Top scorer, best goals per game ratio, playing for a poor team, and he doesn't get in.

Despite never hearing of the GK or 3 of the 4 defenders, you can't argue with the midfield and strike force. Sharp maybe feels a bit aggrieved not to be in, as will Nicky Ajose and Sam Winnall. Grigg is the leading scorer and Armstrong has scored less than Sharp and Ajose.

For those who who can't see the team:

McLaughlin (Burton)

Wabara (Wigan) Egan (Gills) Morgan (Wigan) Henry (Walsall)

Duffy (Burton) Wildschut (Wigan) Sawyers (Walsall) Dack (Gills)

Armstrong (Cov) Grigg (Wigan)

I'd have thought any player that gets in the League One team of the year will be hoping to be playing in the Championship at least next season one way or another, I very much doubt they will be signing for us.

Out of those players, I'd like Roofe and Pierre or Nelson.
