League One sides making moves....

We've signed quite a number of players we've needed. I think we've done quite well up to now.

But we need a winger and a CM. We don't have anywhere near a promotion team until we sign those positions, at least!

Not bothered about any of them to be honest.
Agard did all right at Rotherham 27 in 70 odd games but at Bristol city 15 in 60 odd games is nothing to get excited about.
I'm happy to stick with Sharp and Clarke.
Some of you lot would have squads of 150 players.
How many players would you have from each of the clubs mentioned has strong challenges for promotion in the posts above ?
My guess about 1 player from each. How many would the fans of these clubs have of our players ? I would guess 3 or 4, at least Sharp,Clarke,Fleck,Duffy,Long (only joking about long).
I can see us as a side that gets stronger has the season goes on.
None of the clubs mentioned bother me at all, we'll be in the mix come May.
Let's just get behind the lads from now until then. UTB.

Spot on. We need, as you say, a CM and a Winger but I'd also add a Centre Half - and the only players we're linked to on Radio Sheff are a Striker and a goalkeeper - but I accept that there may be others in the pipeline. We just seem to talk about what we need and it takes us forever to get anything done about it - suppose that's "The Bladesway" .

Personally I still think we're not strong enough in either midfield or at the back to mount a serious automatic promotion challenge and whilst the signings so far look OK to decent, they certainly don't yet look like we've bought the better L1 and L2 players which I was hoping we'd do.
Can't wait until tomorrow for them to show me how wrong I am as they start to gel as a team and play with purpose and direction.
