Trust me...I will have much more fun than your bitter and twisted persona will

Yeah. It's ace when people drift off topic because simple fucking questions emerge which require answers. It's particularly great when simpletons suddenly chip in with hilarious gifs and stuff. And then on top of that, the Sunshine Bus Third Party happens by. It really changes the situation and makes the whole thing better.

Pomps mi owd. I am due to fly home tomoz and may not have chance to ask this for some time, but please, before I pass out, What is the "Sunshine Bus Third Party"?

Compensation fees can vary but given that he fell down the ladder at pigs I can't imagine this one being too large probably between 150 and 250k

We are a league one club, under the constraints of FFP (remember that?) and offering a young man who's out of contract a fresh start....

Does anybody be live it's 800k other than a deluded pig who can't understand why hull murdered them in London when they had more fans there...

Wark wark, that's the sound that the door on patels mini mart makes in the viz comic when 8ace walks in the door, to buy his 8 ace...

Seriously...it is....

If he's good, he'll be good because we paid 800k for him, Fuck you McCabe
If he's shit, then we have two camps:
a) We only paid 150k and we pay peanuts and get monkeys. Fuck you McCabe
b) We paid 800k for a shithouse like that! Fuck You McCabe

Choose wisely Blades fans!

Or like with Ched Evans Mcabe will claim he cost 3million if it suits him.

No L1 club is under FFP. It's the Salary Cost Management Protocol which has different rules. It allows owners' investment to be counted as income, so if Poundland wanted to invest £10m we could spend £4m on transfer fees and £6m on wages without being punished for it.

But despite that, of course we didn't pay £800k for Lavery. No tribunal would rule that a L1 club had to pay anything like that for a kid who's played mainly on loan in the lower leagues.

At the end of the day if he does the job will his fee really matter, I am sure it will only be questioned if he fails.

I wonder if he'll have a chance to get minutes under his belt for the U23s on Tuesday night... against Wednesday :)

It was £300k as confirmed in todays Star.

Think the fee situation is all a bit irrelevant . Main thing is we have signed a quality young player who will be a asset to the club .

With all the shit and morass that flies around , we are luck we support SUFC . With a city of 2 clubs we made the right choice years ago or recently . Fuck being negative , for the first time for a long time we are going places .

Great club , let's not be continual shit heads and bring down the club on everything it does . Negative shite go away .

UTB and fucking proud of it .

Not confirmed as £300k ... Fee is 'believed' to be £300k so yet again the Star is guessing as usual.
Don't beleave we went over 200k Wilder obviously put a bid in which pigs initially didn't accept ( hoping for some club to come in and take him for perhaps a few thousand more ) .in the end with Lavery set on signing for us pigs took our offer as going to a tribunal could have back fired on them , (they also probably didn't like the idea that he was coming to play for us.).Tough shit !! I think we have a player here who is hungry and wants to play for us, looks like a really good signing for us.

I was being clever and chose the wrong one, never mind eh, you got it..

£800,000? They're feckin deluded aren't they?

If no fee had been agreed, it would have gone to tribunal. Tribunals take into account the previous wage, level, potential, age and importance of a player to the "selling" club. Seeing as Lavery was not important to their team (their own words), was close to his 24th birthday, has potential but probably not Premier League potential, won't have been on huge money at the Rust Bucket and was a Championship player who played on loan at League 2 last season moving to a League 1 side, I can't see how a tribunal would have settled on £800,000. How many League 1 sides spend £800,000 on Championship rejects as they so eloquently put it? United would be - and I admit this can sometimes be the case though I doubt it this time - bonkers to agree that kind of fee considering we just sold Adams and Calvert-Lewin for not much more and they have larger potential and are younger.

Also, Wilder is clearly serious about SUFC not being messed with re: fees. Why would he agree to such a fee for a player that, come January, he can sign for nothing once he has passed his 24th birthday?

No, I think the snortbeast(s) in question here are, as usual, feckin muppets. #UTB

I've seen plenty of grunters quoting 800k over social media. The silly puddings believe their own lies. The star claims it's in the region of 300k and that's probably about right.

Again whatever it is , we have a player who appears to have class , quality , right age and attitude .

Also the fella wants to play. , and can play football . Blades winners all ways round on this one .

Got a feel of the Reece , Flynn , Powell , Hockey , era with the incoming players . Reason to believe again in my book , which can only be a good thing .

It's funny how we relate things to the successes we've seen in the past. I was reminded of Bassett when he signed players I'd never heard of; Donny reserves, non-league, cast-offs and they turned out to be legends.

Too young to remember Harris.

Totally agree we are getting our club back at last and we are in for good season we will pass the pigs on their way back down. Utb
