A good mate of mine has been to the last two games, the only time he has been this season due to work, he sees the nucleus of the team from these two performances for next season with the usual 2/3 quality additions, I have explained that over the season these (generally) same players have been poor, boring and we are mid table for a reason, but the thing is, over these two games we have looked a completely different side, but I still say we need to rip it up and start again, funny though you can generally only go on what you see and from these two games we look decent. Look at rovrum, same players taking em down now a top two side scoring freely, roll on next season.

Clouding.

Smoke screens.

Subsequent contractual decision making mistakes.

Inevitable repetition of poor season.

Tears.

I think after a full season Adkins won't be fooled by an Indian summer ( I hope ! ) from one or two players ,there were plenty of pluses today and the biggest one was the way Sharp and Adams played as a unit . We didn't get the goals or the win our performance merited today but playing with that kind of tenacity and invention we will score goals and win matches,Gillingham deserve credit for hanging in there but they wernt in the same league regarding technic.
Baptiste would be a great signing for us his reading of the game is superb ,hope Middlesborough go up we might get him then ,pity we didn't sign him all them years ago when Warnock and then Blackwell showed an interest in him ,reminds me of Mcgrath who could get through a match with a fag in his mouth ( mcgrath was crocked but Baptist is just finding fitness ) It is possible he would be available as borough would be shopping at the top table ,fingers crossed.

Can we copy and paste this as your reply to everything then you can have some time off.

Much better team without Brayford. We were before he came back from injury and have been since his new injury... Get shut in the summer

Ben . Problem is , clubs will not be queuing up fighting for his signiture . The bloke will be going nowhere unless it's Burton , and that's a long shot .

Brayford cannot be blamed for getting injured , but the more injuries you get , the more fragile you become . Like to see him as a integral part of the team next season , with quality players around him.

Another dilemma for Adkins , but he does seem to standby players who listen , work hard , and act in a professional manner .

The recent home games have looked better, but we still nearly blew it vs. Crewe, couldn't finish off Gillingham, and we've had the home performances punctuated with the likes of Southend and Fleetwood away.

Some better games or not we're still well short of the automatic contention we want.

Let's hope Burton go up, even still we'd have to take at least a million quid hit on him. Due to the ridiculous fee and wage he's on NA feels compelled to play him whenever fit. How many goals have we conceded from his side! Has to go, looked much better with Freeman there

We all have our opinion and we are still some way short but it's coming together.yesterday we played some of the best attacking football we've seen for a number of years.and it's clear Adkins wants to play in an exciting attacking way, some who we may have written off might get another chance as it's taken a season to shake away the negative approach of Clough Hopefully Adkins won't be fooled by a late surge by players who can't give on a regular basis. He is going to be here next season so we have to trust him to sort the wheat from the chaff
