April 2022 against Bournemouth at home - Queen Elizabeth II was still alive and Boris Johnson was Prime Minister. We've gone 3.5 years without a goalless draw must be the longest run? Surprising given the low number of goals we score.

I've been saying all week it feels like we rarely draw matches.

3.5 years since our last 0-0 is bizarre.

Some (very) brief research suggests the probability of a goalless draw is around 8% - or one in every 12 (and a half) games.

Given that the objective of the game is to score as many as you can (or at least more than your opponent), that 8% of games can see both teams fail to score I find that quite amusing.

The best nil nil I have seen was against Southampton at home around 1993. Franz Carr was superb on the right and I don't know how we failed to score.

Alternatively the objective is to concede fewer than your opponent.

That game v Bournemouth the one where Baldocks throw in bounced off Osborn's heed when he wasnt looking and it went out for another throw in?

I'm laughing at the thought of it now 🤣
