I noticed Souttar standing in an offside position, blocking the goalie's view, prior to the kick being taken - possibly leading the goalie to think that Burrows was going to take it. He moved onside and Hamer immediately bent it round the other side of the wall, It was brilliantly manufactured.

That was my first thought (post-celebration obviously). Surely the keeper lines his wall up to stop a shot into the near post.

Burrows was going to take it but hamer must have spotted the wall as he came over to the ball quite late.
