Watched last night the commentators said Birmingham looked like a gelled unit chong is ideal what we were looking for .
Actually we looked decent in spells Berge will get kicked in this league and I dint know how it wasn't a pen well 2 pens .
Slav knows we need signings if we do sell rammers I hope he gets the majority of funds it's needed.

We're not paying jokanovic decent money for nothing he knows what he needs. We need to see who he brings in to judge him really

Really?

Where?

This isn't a personal dig. I just want you to elaborate.

pommpey

There were moments in the second half although it was mainly down to Sander driving forward.

This formation clearly doesn't suit us just yet without the right personnel on board.

How did the protest go or was it just you?

Whilst ever our central Midfield player —— Norwood drops into the middle of the back four to exchange passes with all of them Before passing it forward we will be laborious.
Surely he sits in the centre circle to receive the ball from the back four therebye starting an attack from 25 yards further forward.

It's a pity we can't put the away fans in a corner

In fairness to Norwood, he had to plug the huge gap between the centre backs. If Egan and Robinson had been any further apart, one of them would have been walking down John Street while the other would be stood in the South stand car park.

A fair point . On one occasion early in the match , he collected the ball centrally on the edge of our penalty area when neither of the other two were anywhere in sight .

There were a number of other examples of players suddenly appearing in positions where you least expect them to be and , for at least most of the first half , the system such as it was seemed to be bereft of any discernible shape and structure but more a case of ‘ what am I doing here and where has everyone else fucked off to “? It was precisely because of this approach that they scored their goal .

It’s very easy and justifiable to criticise Osborn’s feeble attempt at the header but , putting aside the fact that he was played in a position he should never be allowed anywhere near , the cross landed exactly where the LCB should have been there ready to defend it but was nowhere to be seen .

I found it all very strange , the only consolation being that we weren’t up against a better side when it could have been humiliating .

With regard to the goal, it was noticeable there was no left midfielder covering their fullback’s move into the box. 433 doesn’t lend itself to that sort of natural pairing out wide unless it reverts to a 451 out of possession.

It was almost forgivable given the lack of preparation, but Ossie at left back is an open invitation to cross deep, so there must have been a plan of sorts….

Maybe the left side midfielder obstructing his run would have helped , but surely the responsibility for defending a straight forward aerial cross onto the left edge of our box lies almost entirely with the LCB .

What I do know is that if the likes of one of our unsung heroes from the past such as John Flynn had been on the pitch , the incident would have passed without notice and the ball headed firmly back away from goal .
