Kyle McFadzean

....... they should've paid a lower salary linked to promotion bonuses.

That strategy clearly isn't working, potential player looks at out last 5 attempts at promotion and thinks........ Hahahahahahahaha they can feck off

In the first team at Cardiff on way more money, or in the first team at United on much less but probably a good wage for where we are.

Hopefully McFadzean has the same attitude as Brayford did.

At his age and having only been in league football for a few years, he'd be mad to reject a good contract at a Championship club, Blade or not. Remember how high the average wage is in that league these days.

If we're dead set on signing him I think we're going to have to break the wage structure.

Fuck the wage structure. The money we were going to spend on three centre halves just spend on one if he's our top target, play Bash with him.
Yes I'm willing to panic buy now, I'm sorry.

The fact he hasn't suggests that McFadz wishes to come back to his boyhood club and/or MK have relented

We'll see

he does want to. Last week a friend of his (very attractive) girlfriend Leanne tweeted to her "is Kyle signing for United" and she replied "he wants to but MK won't let him go", think this was before he put his transfer request in. It's been deleted (as has his account) I think but you can find it by searching for kyle mcfadzean on twitter.com as others have tweeted screen grabs.

Course it might have been another United

There are other very decent centre-backs out there. McFadz has suddenly become the "must have". I don't get it. He's not Eddie Colquhoun or Joe Shaw.

Did he? ....Right. Is he? ....Oh.

I get it now....

No, you have got these lyrics wrong, it isn't

"...Did he? ....Right. Is he? ....Oh...."

It's

"...Do I...what?, Will I......what?..."

Here, listen again

MK have signed George Williams & are signing Paul Downing. Surely this means they can finally grant McFadzean his wish to join the Blades?

Is Downing a full back or CB?

Centre half, George Williams is too but I'm not 100% on that one

EDIT: quick search shows Williams as a RB. I think atm that leaves MK with 2 first team centre halves on their books

And when he breaks his leg in the first game?
Same thing that happens if Sharp breaks his leg.... We finish mid table.
Bit of a glass completely bleeding empty look at things Mobile.

Think we need to move on, unfortunately. But Karl Robinson has come across as a right royal cunt there, in my eyes.. I understand having a tough stance and we could've done with one ourselves a few times, but this quote here...

I don’t care if it makes a player unhappy - he can sit in the reserves. MK Dons are bigger than any of us and it’ll be here longer than any of us. No-one is for sale to a competitor."

Boss would rather make a person miserable than sell up. I fundamentally disagree with this kind of stance. If a player doesn't want to be at a club, let them fuck off. Don't keep people in places they don't want to be.

Perhaps then it's time for CW to tell us McFadz is no longer on the radar, as he didn't dismiss it when pushed at the Q & A session

He has said the player can leave. Just not to a rival club. He has got that spot on, he will only sell the player if it has a positive outcome for them.

I like the part where he states "MK DONS are bigger than anyone of us"
Same they aren't as big as the Blades though isn't it!
Go get him Chris lad!!

Might be better offering them a Ginsters slice than Shammond!!!

Difficult one for me this. I don't think that any club should be dictated to by a player particularly one that is under contract but, if he has got the mardys on and handed in a transfer request isn't he better off being allowed to leave.
Another thing that is interesting for me is that it has been said by many of us that we should be cherry picking the best players from our league. It looks like KR is aware of this and putting the blockers on it. Somehow I don't blame him and if the quote above is reliable he sounds adamant, we will see.

What this actually mean is that we can have him, but the price is going to be bumped up. Judging by the whole "we won't be held to ransom by anyone" theme at the moment I think this effectively kills the move.

Bitterly disappointed personally, as this felt like the only one that might be fairly imminent.

We need to move on from him.

The fee would've been a big one for us anyway.

FFS , I hope CW doesn't let this become a Dan Burn farce , Part the Second.
Move on and look elswhere.
You just know that with the Blade's luck , if we push the boat out financially to get him , he will either fall down a sink-hole on the M1 or be the reason that we can't afford to sign any other players.
Forget him , move on , move on ......
AND BE QUICK ABOUT IT...
Tick Tock .......

More than one way to skin a cat.....MK refuse to sell to us....but will to someone else.
Unbeknown o them, but arranged with us and agent is that the club they are actually selling to is in agreement to sell straight on to is for a small percentage and a future favour....been done before.

Why do we always struggle to get our main targets, yet other clubs manage them with ease??

Money or lack of it . We want league 1 BMW but can only afford finance on a car from the auctions .

Just down to having the financial clout and we haven't got any . Spent up from previous escapades .

If we weren't in this situation Wilder would not be the manager . Just hope the board have not been economical with the truth with Wilder.
