We may not be the reason for his transfer request. Teams such as Blackburn & Preston are interested in him & it is reported by one twitter user @TomBarclay_SUN that he would like a move back to the championship.
Why would MK Dons sell him to a league 1 rival? Particularly if there is interest from the division above. Can't see this happening.
If a player wants to go yer can't stand in his way, learnt nowt?
I reckon that he'd love to come back to us, but also the transfer fee involved goes against what I would expect our business to be like this summer - predominantly free transfers.
A famous person once said....But when a player hands in a transfer request what can you do?His desire may well be to come back and play for us, unfortunately tho that may not be MK's desire
Milton Keynes rag:
"Earlier this summer, McFadzean favourited a tweet linking him to boyhood club Sheffield United, but it is understood that Dons would be unwilling to sell the defender to a League 1 rival."

Even MK Dons have more nous and more bollocks than us.
Refusing to sell a player. Fancy that! Anyone would think he's under contract.
I can see us throwing money at this transfer in desperation. MK will sell but they'll be holding out for a decent price. £750k maybe.
I'm not sure how good he is. Didn't he make a fair few mistakes last season?

that's why we've struggled, they've got em all! From WincobankBlade's post, it sez in the second article....
"Should McFadzean leave, he would be the fourth centre back to depart this summer, after Antony Kay, Jordan Spence and Matt Upson"
Kin el, how many have they got if four have left? We'd settle for just having two!
Think, McDonald and wolves.A famous person once said....But when a player hands in a transfer request what can you do?
apparently his girlfriend also tweeted to say he wanted to join us but Dons wun't let him go.
Also I don't see how they can refuse to sell a player to another club in the same division - not all players are good enough to go up a division or should be made to go down a division - surely there are rules against that.
Apart from Liverpool (Suarez, Sterling). Oh and every other club.I think we're the only club that works at
good point, it will be down to whatever release clauses exist in his contract of course. For rules. Read Contracts
If you read that in The Star, would you believe exactly what you were reading? It's a local rag that probably prints as much bollocks.
from "loving it" at MK in Nov 2015, in the championship, to putting in a transfer bid in now and apparently wanting to come to us - funny how quick the milk turns sour isn't it?http://www.mkdons.com/news/article/...an-contract-sky-bet-championship-2788063.aspx
McFadzean is under contract till June 2018, so if the Blades DO wan't him, AND sign him it will be the statement of intent some fans want

Make sure you get a decent price, well over £1m. I'm sure if we bid that for Kyle MKD would snatch our hands off.A famous person once said....But when a player hands in a transfer request what can you do?

A pretty credible source posted on here that under Clough we turned down a bid from Brighton for Flynn and gave him a new contract. That worked out well.
£2m for a L1 player isn't rolling over, it's Murphy, not Dele AlliThat was SUFC flexing their muscles so that when Brighton came in for Murphy, they knew we wouldn't just roll over!!
