Understand Kyle McFadzean has put in a transfer request at #mkdons

:)

Also someone posting Kyle has deleted his twitter account?

I couldn't find is twitter account when looking for info last night that might be on him. It wouldn't at all surprise me if he has put in a transfer request. He's clearly desperate to come here and rightly so and MK don't want him to leave and appear to have rejected our bids, which is of course their prerogative. I haven't seem him play to be honest, so I'm only going on his reputation but he appears to be a decent signing. I'd love him alongside Burn, but that'll probably never happen! I think its just a matter of time before we sign McFadzaen, because we all know he's going to be one hell of an unhappy player if he has to remain at MK. Maybe offer them Coutts in return!? ;-)

Coutts is a very good footballer. If Tufty is the inspirational Bladey motivator we all think he is, then he could turn him into a real asset. A far better player than Little Louis, for example. The latter can go tomorrow for me. I'll drive him up the road.

Sorry to disturb the party line...

One major flaw with that idea....Tufty likes players who can run

Too early to judge young reedy yet Pinchy as he is still very young but he will have to bulk up a bit as he will always be a short arse.
Coutts is a different proposition entirely as you say he is a very good footballer and if tufty can fit him into the way we are going to play he could be a very good player for us.Putting him on the list will have been a shock to him ( if not it should be ) and I think he will go one of two ways not sure that way will be ,but he will have to put himself about a lot more than he has done so far as I think our new manager will demand total commitment or on your bike.
Be interesting which way Coutts goes, but as you say the ability is there if hes not too lazy to work for the team.

Yes but of course that doesn't suit the agenda. Neither Clough nor Adkins did anything of value and each and every player (unless they are a bit Bladey) they recruited is a waste of space.

Sorry Finlay, Reed is small and weak and doesn't have anywhere close to the ability to prop himself up. He plays nervously, and when he's on the pitch he's very low on self confidence. He always opts for the easiest option, which more often than not is backward/sideways. He almost never tries anything other than that and when he does it rarely comes off. Not somebody that should be anywhere near the central midfield of a side even thinking about promotion from this league.

Could be right Barney he's a long way to go to make it,needs game time which I doubt he will get with us,needs to go on loan and see what that does for him.

See, you can get it.

And Blades fans like 'players' who can hoof.

I don't like hoofy players ........ I like players who can look after themselves in this agricultural Division, but are capable of playing fast, exciting football that's enjoyable to watch ......

Pity we've only got three like that .......

I agree that Coutts has all the attributes to be a decent footballer. but he's flattered to deceive and now he's up for sale, I doubt we'll see him again in our colours. I reckon Burton will come calling!

Unfortunately, all the evidence suggests that he is too lazy. He does have ability and I'd love to see him come good for us but how many chances can you give to people who take the piss out of our club to the extent that he does?

I disagree Pinchy, I think Reed and Coutts suffer from the same problem: both other nothing in terms of a goal threat and both offer very little defensively. You have to offer either one or the other, ideally both. Being able to play a nice pass and have a good first touch (which I think they both do well) is not enough to be a professional, it's the bare minimum in my eyes.

The difference between them is Reed has age on his side (though his physicality won't miraculously improve over night) and Coutts has height on his side (yet despite his height, shows little in terms of strength and pace). Another big difference is their wages. I'd guess (shoot me) that Coutts is earning 5x the amount of Reed, yet is clearly not 5x the player.

For someone so confident in their football expertise, I'm surprised you haven't noticed that neither fit the Wilder mould. He likes a player capable of offering something at both ends of the pitch who is mobile and aggressive enough to press. Attributes, in my eyes, that would take a minor miracle for either player to develop.

Sorry to spoil your party.

Going off topic here with Reed, but for me, if he has a future in the game it's as a creator/player maker....I think that's how United see him and what earned him his England chance....a poor mans Paul Scholes might not be a bad achievement for any young player in L1.

Whether he can toughen up enough for this, or any league remains to be seen....they're was one away game last seasons n in particular where he was demolished and disappeared???

Went to the U21 v Huddersfield final. Wilder was there having just been appointed manager. A few of 1st team squad played (Kennedy, Reed, Adams, Whiteman, Kelly etc).
If i'd have been in their position I would have been doing everything possible to catch my new managers eye.
Kennedy, Reed, Adams, and De Girolamo to borrow Simon Cowell's phrase, were all distinctly average.
We know what CW thinks of Kennedy (who he could have reprieved) and De Girolamo.
He must have seen enough from Reed to keep him.
Adams has survived on a few glimpses of promise.
Blades best player in first half was Gilmour (attacking Midfield) but he doesn't look ready for 1st team yet.
Blades best player second half was Whiteman, he looked fit, strong and scored.

So I think Reed has persuaded CW that he has enough potential but I suspect Whiteman fits more into CW's mould, and would have impressed him during that match, and so will be in front of Reed in CW's plans

Unbelievable Coutts is a cunt he may have talent but he also has no application none he has everything that I hate in a player no passion or desire. Tufty can't give him a new set of lungs he was regularly blowing out of his arse before half time, anyway for a manager I thought it was just a case of saying go and play football. I wouldn't offer Mr Coutts the same hospitality I boot him there

Well seeing as CW wants his signings in for pre-season which starts 23rd or 24th June, he aint got that long to go.

A little worrying when we still need a fistful of signings despite the two already here

Also a bit worrying is the fact CW is now saying we may need to use the players he's stuck on the transfer list. This makes me think that things might not be progressing as well as we might want behind the scenes.

Fingers crossed

Well, as the pre season starts in 2 - 3 days, there should be a LOT of incoming action over the next 2 days..........shouldn't there?
