First of all, there are no rumours or links to this player anywhere. This is merely a suggestion as we need a CB or three, pronto.

Brentford CB who seems to be more of a squad player now. I may be wrong but maybe he's no longer cut out for the PL anymore? Either way, he should still be able to do a job in the Champ and knows these leagues well as he's also played for Celtic too. With the World Cup around the corner, maybe he will want more game time to get in the Norway squad. Who knows? He's 27 and a big bastard at 6'6" who could also fill in at RB if needed. Seems like a "leader" type player, and boy do we need those right now. Injuries are his biggest problem it seems. Probably unattainable on a permanent deal as I think they would be wanting around £15m for him (that's a guess) but a loan deal may be possible with wages looking to be around the £40k/week bracket. Like I say, it's just a name I'm throwing out there.

Funnily enough I did look at Brentford’s team from Sunday after their link to Thomas appeared and saw he was on the bench as an unused sub, just thought he might be abit too much for us

Ethan Pinnock might be more realistic, 32 now, but left footed and a regular starter over the last few years. He's part of the older group who might need moving on now.
