Worth a punt in January, competition for O’Connell.
Feel O’Connell has been poor this season, and needs a kick up arse. Labouring about, slowing game down. Not getting up and down the pitch, like he has done.
Hause. Strong, athletic and suit LCB well!
Had good pedigree, not getting much football at Wolves at moment!

Hause has always impressed on the few occasions I've sen him but I would have thought with Kean Bryan (when fit) able to cover JOC, LCB will be a low priority for JTW. As funds are likely to be (very) limited, I think there are at least 3 positions of higher priority. and I can't see the logic for any party of a loan as he won't be first choice. That is unless JOC leaves....

Don’t really agree that JOC is having a poor season. Maybe hasn’t quite hit the heights of his form at this point last season, but still one of our most dependable performers.

I think O'Connell might have been told to to overlap as much this season, looks to me that Fleck and Duffy are the ones linking up with Stevens more. Always looks solid to me but isn't the type to throw himself into agressive challenges like Bash does. Still a good enough starter for the LCB position though I think as he's strong in the air, comfortable with the ball at his feet and does well to clear the ball from danger.

As far as defenders with promotion and Premier League experience go, I can't see many obviously available and within our budget.

Hause would fit those simple criteria.
