Knill gone?

Why do they need badges anyway? Did Alf Ramsey, Brian Clough, Bob Paisley need them? Typical English Football Establishment Crap. Let’s have all English Coaches teaching the same. No room for thoughts or ideas of your own, no wonder England’s won fuck all since 1966.

Sven, Fabio Capello and Thomas Tuchel say 'hello'.

Hecky isn't a blade, and if you listen to some folk on here, Warnock wasn't either. I just find it really boring personally, where's the innovation? doing the same thing over and over again expecting the same results isn't really a great idea.
i agree for me that its odd that we cant find success outside of supported us

Is a weird situation, that being said, I don’t think supporters give managers who aren’t affiliated with the club the same amount of time, which is kinda understandable I guess.

Not a bad shout but looking at his links to St Pauli and Genoa l wonder if CW would see him as a bit of a left wing dogooder?
I’d hope the board wouldn’t give a shit about Wilders thoughts regards the next manager, though if they’ve canned Knill without Wilders consent I don’t think they are.

I find this quite interesting …

How will this play out? It’s highly unusual Tay the owners would remove the assistant coach isn’t it? Usually the manager picks his team of backroom staff?

Is this something Wilder has been part of? Something he decided?

Is it something he has been left out of all together ?

Is it part of a plan to disgruntle him so that he leaves?

Is it part of a plan to get more tactical know how into the coaching set up? Perhaps going over Wilders head?

Did Knill decide he wanted to leave ? Retire? (Surely the best option we could hope for)

Very interesting to see what comes out over the next few weeks regarding this if it is true

If CW isn't manager it doesn't matter what he thinks

I was, wrongly, staying with the Knill replacement theme.

Ohh! My mistake Sean, I can’t actually see Wilder agreeing to anyone else outside Knill (with them working together for so long) so it’ll be interesting to see what happens next.. maybe COHs’ way of forcing his hand/pushing him out.

Spineless if that’s their plan.

Wanted Blessin previously. Not followed him since but relegation doesn’t seem like to great a recommendation although he’s not Wilder so some won’t care whether he’s any good - he’ll do! Serious question though, how has he done since being linked to us before.

TBF to Wilder, and I don't say that often, when he went the 1st time he recommended Steve Cooper as his replacement. With the way the squad was built at the time he would have been the perfect replacement and, without going down this route again, if we had a DOF in place I'm sure they would have recommnded him as well.

Instead we went for Slav without giving him the players suited to the way he plays and we all know what happened. Sound familiar??

Copper then went to Forest and took them up. And kept them up albeit after they spent an absolute fortune.

Horrendous record to be fair, did well at Union though. Not massively into German football so no idea how St Pauli play.

Edit: just looked at their squad on transfer market, think they were the equivalent of us when we went up with Trusty etc to the premier league. Hardly surprising.
