Aye
Weren’t we told that Bassett ‘designed’ this - or was it just that he chose it from ‘available options’ ? - if so t’others must have been really (really) wank?

Hearts 2014
He didn't choose it, he actually hated it and selected it as the worst from a variety of Avec options, that was a rumour that he designed it but it is not true.Aye

I don’t think fans of either club would’ve been happy with Umbro had the internet been a thing in 1983. Identical shirts is unforgivable.

Tell you what, here is something I never see get mentioned. Yellow and the use there of look How good it looks with the red, white and black when used as a subtle accent colour

The logo is actually that of the ‘Foundation of Hearts’ supporters group that was funding / seeking to ‘buy’ the club (finally achieved last season) following the club being right royally fucked over by a maniac chairman - think of us with the ‘Blades’ logo / ‘sponsorshipLovely shirt apart from the sponsors logo...
Quite like that (certainly better that the diamond Avec we had. )There again I absolutely loved the purple / yellow jersey- think it must be the purple as I’ve always liked the (various) brizzle City always (purple / lime)There is a chance he may have done, Berwick had the shirts 2 years after us. they also had a red and white version of our yellow and purple away shirt

Aside from the England back line, we actually had another subtle presence at the Euros: the Belgium away kit is essentially our home kit from last season, minus the stripes. The v-neck and collar, the red and black on the sleeves, the way the pattern stops just below the shoulders -- all identical!
In fact, it's Belgium who've been had here: a little yellow stripe between the red and black on the sleeves would have made this an all-time classic, but Adidas couldn't be bothered

Elev8Is it a pipe dream to wish of a kit manufacturer that could offer only bespoke kits to it's customers?
Are there even one or two already in existence?
If not have I spotted a gap in the sports merchandise market (only kidding!).
Being associated with the Massive I don't know how I forgot about themElev8
You lost me when the south Barnsley shirts were introduced.Been discussed multiple times on here that Adidas are the absolute devil because they use templates, but this isn't "just" Adidas, all manufacturers do it. Here are some examples of where we have incorporated some, or multiple aspects of other shirts and ended up "twinned"...
