It's a shame if this is the case and we seriously need the right cover, we can't make the mistakes and hope they won't affect us last night was a clear indication that today or tomorrow we need a decent CB.

I hope its a ruse and it won't be the first time Blackie has done this, though I'm sure the uncleans defence will struggle with Wardy, Evans and Hendo, that we can keep pressure from the back. However we need to do something because if its a serious chest infection he could be out for a week possibily 2.

They also have their problems, Wood missed out last night and his replacement Beevers was stretchered off. Purse is looking shaky by all accounts so it should be a case of them worrying about us with their own problems.

I just hope Blackie goes for an attacking 4-4-2 and takes the game to them, he didn't last year and we paid the price.

Well I'm hoping we will have by the end of tomorrow at least Bladesman.

But what about Speed he has expressed that he will play if he feels we are short, wouldn't he be able to take this role up at least for one or 2 games? I don't think its the best option but if Blackie well can't find cover because he feels the players on offer won't be what we require then at least this gives us a potential cover plan. I'd much rather see it than forcing Kyle to be playing in an uncomfortable position.

Wendy have Richard Hinds who maybe crap but is better than nothing. Blackwell needs to get some cover for centre half no matter what the Kilgallon situation is. Collins did a good job previously as loan cover for the one game ,maybe a loan signing is due again.

Fortune is getting another run out in the reserves today, wouldn't surprise me if he's drafted in if he gets through the full 90 tonight.

Fast tempo and down the flanks is where its at. Purse is like the QE2 turning, get him turned and get him facing his own goal and he could bag another one for us on Friday night.

Agree about Purse, he would much prefer to be facing Hendo than Wardy, no way Blackie won't play Hendo though.
