I suppose he couldn't care less where he gets his contract from but I do wonder if the Scottish version is what he has in mind when he thinks of Premier League football.

From what you read it seems that Mowbray is looking for ball playing defenders as opposed to cloggers and I suppose Killa has to be placed in the former category.

Scotland would suit Kilgallon, there's only 4 competitive games every season so he'll not have to do much for his money for most of the season.

watch out for improved performances in the next 2 games from him as they're live on sky and he'll know he's in the shop window

I'd leave the greedy twat on the bench and burst that little bubble!

I don't think Killa is playing shite on purpose - what are the others excuses? - so turning it on in the next two games won't be as easy as that

He's always had runs of poor form and this, along with the speculation adding to it, will just be the that

He doesn't want to commit himself to us for the next few years of his career - if you weren't a Blades fan and just a player don't you think you may do the same IF a Premier Club came in for you and offered you a good contract too. He's been up front with United on this - should have sold him before it got to this stage and took it by the scruff of the neck like the pigs have with Wood

Ths Scottish clubs haven't got a pot to piss in at the moment - that's why Rangers and Celtic keep making noises about wanting to play in the Premiership. They want the money, as they are financially rewarded in telly money at roughly the same rate as the Championship clubs, i.e. not a great deal compared to the cash cow that is the Premier League. If/when Kilgallon goes it won't be to the busted flush that is the Buckfast In The Bus Shelter League Of Scotland, because if we can't pay him then they are highly unlikely to.

Plus, the fact that it rains an awful lot means Scotland is not a coiffure-friendly location to play your football.
