Kieron Freeman Pre-Season Training

Not the most interesting thread but it must be said, Kieron is looking much leaner than he was for the whole of last season. I've always been a bit dubious when it comes to our RWB options and assumed KF might be replaced with new cover in that position this transfer window.

Looks like Freeman is taking this chance to potentially play in the Premier League seriously if you look at the recent training pictures.

Good news for us as he will push Baldock to the next level hopefully.

I thought the same - the first picture that the club posted of the training sessions, his face is notably different.

Might be getting the wrong end of the stick but if he did put on more weight which caused his form to decline for us - then I hope he has overcome the challenge that he will have been facing - possibly mentally.

Those tattoos will make him a better player.

Freeman has P.L. qualities. Worth a few goals arriving in the box.

The beard trim probably helps him to look less fat in the face.

As trim as he appears to be, Baldock looks to be in beast mode so there's some serious competition for the RWB role.

Personally, I think neither are quite good enough for the PL and we need to look for better to come in and make that spot their own, just as Enda has done.

We don't have enough tats/sleeves for the Prem, however the capture of Luke Freeman has improved this.

Maybe he was carrying some kind of injury that hampered his training? Or, as you say, might have suffered from motivational issues (could be having personal difficulties we don’t know about).

Good to see him looking up for it though.

This is great news, noticed it too. We don't know the reasons around last season, but he was prone to going missing for periods at a time, without explanation. Bring in better shape can only be beneficial for him and the squad.

Freeman looked leaner and fitter at this mornings training session - his namesake Luke didn’t look to shabby either. All the squad looked on it to be fair but then they know they’ll have to be.

Without sounding like a pansy,the lads look absolutely ripped and fit as fuck.
A huge pat on the back to the players for keeping fit over the summer and to the conditioning team who drill the lads.

I was at the training session today & I thought Freeman was looking much fitter. I know it was only a training session but his whole body language & demeanor seemed far more positive. Think I mentioned it to my mate on the way back in the car so this post reinforces my thoughts.
