Our share would be £5m, or a quarter of Rhian Brewster. They can keep it.

Does this mean we get a portion of those parachute payments given we’re a 23/24 prem club or is it counted as next season? Any one know?

(Apologies if already posted)

We either get a percentage of that, or a percentage of what they didn't need to pay Burnley or us, depending on when the thing applies. Pretty much a wash

Percentage of that but Ipswich will get a cut too apperantly

Imagine what that money could do for Non League/Youth football clubs who often struggle to pay for kit cleaning. i know a local club who could not afford the £50 to get the kit cleaned weekly, they were asking mums/dads to take this on. Scandalous :-(

We have plenty of money coming in.

Sale of players
Premier league money from this current season we hardly spent.
Parachute payments
Sell ons from players like DCL & Ramsdale.

But if you question anything on here. 🔪
Agreed - however, a lot of that money will be used to fund pending transfer payments as well as payments due on the ‘Shark Loans’ taken out to fund the running of the club in lieu of Premier League payments/parachute payments.

As I have stated before - if this is the only way the Prince can afford to run a Championship club …. Then we have to live with it. However, unless we miraculously get promoted again in the next 2 years…..god help us after that!

Not really, some of that money is already going towards the hotel, the land next to Bramall Lane and the new training ground, not to mention the wage bill and paying off some of the transfer fees from this season over the next two to three years. We haven't got as much as you think we have.

We are not a premier league side next year when that "saved"' money comes into play....
This 👆 is the correct reply.

They've had their parachute payments this season, but they won't be getting them next season as they'll be back in the Prem.

At the same time, I can't remember the last non league ground I went to that didn't have some sort of signage at the ground indicating that something in terms of infrastructure was funded by the Premier League
