Most on here were saying he's he's poor and had cost us promotion, the deal we got was a good one for him. Players benefit from better coaching & playing in the right system, even Cannon would start scoring again if he was moved on
Moore said similar to that sometime in the pre season, he's thinking about international football and said he wants to play in a system that makes him look at his best, whether he wanted out and put it out on the grapevine because of the so called Selles system,no idea, but suddenly he was available and Wrexham arrived on the scene,be interesting to know how the whole scenario played out behind the scenes

Moore didn't fit into the 4-3-2-1 system until we we went long with 4-4-2 at the end of the season. He was injured for a while but the under utilisation of his aerial ability was a consequence of the tactics we employed. Put him in a long ball team like Hollywood and he will thrive. Play triangles in the corner and he will look out of place. CW wasn't at fault for selling him and would prefer to still have him. That doesn't excuse the fact when he was fit we failed to play to his strengths.

My point is you're blaming Chris for Moore being good somewhere else. Wilder didn't sell him, nor did he sell McBurnie.
As for getting the best out of strikers, Campbell left Stoke on a free because they didn't rate him.
Wilder was literally KNOWN for getting the best out of average players, dont let Brewster, Moore and probably Cannon skew that.
Well,he’s certainly not getting the best out of this bunch of average players. FACT.

Mcburnie left under Wilders watch hence Moore coming in

Can't believe we are discussing this donkey when we let Diego Maradona slip through our grasps.

He's had the best out of 90% of these players already, the others arent his.
You cannot and will not accept that he is not the Wilder mark 1 that we had years ago. It’s embarrassing, this infatuated bad marriage between him,the club and you. We are in big relegation trouble and part of that is down to his tenure.

They didn't think much about him at Middlesborough either where he failed to rate Djed Spence and sent him out on loan.
Every manager makes mistakes and misjudgments,he fell out with Steve Gibson, who is supposed to be a real nice man to be employed by,but he went behind his back and as you say, didn’t rate Spence. Not many people know what goes off behind the scenes,it’s been like Emmerdale at BDTBL.

Mate, I don't need to tell you what points we finished on last season. If you want to blame this season on the same man, I guess thats on you.

Oh yeah,I forgot,92 points blah, blah, blah, kin ell,we are getting like that bunch across the city. The bottom line was,We failed again, miserably. The inquest was determined immediately.

We need a Moore type striker now badly. Someone who is useful in both boxes. Dunno if we can get someone like him or McBurnie from abroad (or somewhere else) in jan to help us with our relegation battle.

Both McBurnie and Moore are the big target players that we are missing. Blame Selles for this one. He decided to let Moore go when he could have kept him and he had option for McBurnie who would have come back to us if thought he’d play regularly.
The loss of both options is criminal in my book. A proven target man is now a big gap in the team at least to hold ball up, give us an outlet, vary things up attack wise and also can defend our own box when needed also. We are now a quite predictable one dimensional attacking team
Wilder arrived after the transfer window so was left with One who is still unproven but he is our only target man. One area I hope we address in JTW but looks like we need midfielder too and a right back to name a few other weak areas
