Kieffer Moore

It's OK. Chris will carry on doing his cliche ridden pressers and he'll get a pass on everything.

Can't find a good striker and can't build a team to supply one effectively either 'at the top of the pitch'

Well done Kieffer lad. Better off well away from here.

Wilder didn't sell Moore.
And he wasn't here for our failed recruitment push.

Every time well let a player go the turn onto Ronaldo 😂
Brewster incoming !!!!

Keiffer Moore scores goals at championship level shock.
Proof if any were needed, that if you put the ball in the right area for him, he'll score goals.
We did not do that nowhere nearly enough.

Wilder did not let him go, and if he had, we'd have McBurnie back as replacement, who is an all round better player than Moore.

Sorry but when they are both fit Moore is way way better than mcburnie, better in the air, faster, better finisher, can score from outside the area, stronger and links play up better

I'd have him mcburnie back any day of the week over canon but people forget just how comically bad he was at times for us, clumsily fouling his own players, kicking the ball into his own face, giving away stupid fouls and constantly throwing himself on the floor.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I disagree.

Happy for him. he played really well in the lead up to and in the playoffs last season, struggled in the final after missing a couple of chances and then had the biggest brain fart at the worst possible time. He was trying to lay the ball back off but the football gods decides to put lead in his boots and that was that. unfortunately every time we saw Kieffer in a blades shirt since then it was clearly weighing on him and we couldn't forget it either, so best for him to move on.

I bet you say the same about McBurnie now as well. The guy Chris bought, and wanted back.

Moore is a more than decent championship striker. I don't think we used him brilliantly but to not replace him at all has killed us
Exactly. 1000%.

Walking away from McBurnie and cashing in on Moore was exactly the right decision, if the plan was to get a younger more athletic option.

Its the not bringing in anyone at all that is killing us and shows we had no plan at all!

Plus if we're not utterly dog shit this year, no one cares what Moore does...

Mcburnie works better as the one up top linking with others compared to Moore who was unsuited to it imo

There's definitely a discussion on him too.

26 in his 5 years here is hardly prolific for a striker at this level or in the PL

Hull have him fit, firing and clearly play to his strengths

There are real questions as to whether we would get the same from him or treat him the same, to get the best from him.

Clearly hypothetical questions but the irrefutable current and past evidence is right here in front of us.

Another doing better away from BDTBL and good luck to him too.

Moore was rarely fit for us last season. Stop start. Keeping him on the pitch regularly has been key for Wrexham. At that age the injuries usually become more frequent, not less

So they are getting more out of him than we did both in minutes and goals, wonder how they can improve an aging injury prone player?

If you’re a remote and naive owner of a football club, and your coach says he can do without an aging and expensive target man for the style he wants to play. And you’ve shelled out millions on a younger striker just months earlier. Then you think you’re making an easy and obvious decision.

But the truth is you’re a fool who’s has employed another fool to tell you things you want to hear.

Youth. Energy. Dynamic modern football. Hurray!

He had a hernia problems last season which caused him not to be fully fit and then had an op. Wrexham are now benefiting from that.

He injured at the moment, missed last few games and expected to miss today

We totally misused Moore. We put in the 3rd lowest crosses out of everyone in the league last season so he was never going to look as good as he could have. The same would have happened this season.

That said, he was a good outball for us and we have nobody like him. We might never have seen the best of him in a Wilder team but he'd still have been an asset

Most on here were saying he's he's poor and had cost us promotion, the deal we got was a good one for him. Players benefit from better coaching & playing in the right system, even Cannon would start scoring again if he was moved on

Which on itself makes you wonder why the fuck do we keep buying players that don't fit the system 🤔

My point is you're blaming Chris for Moore being good somewhere else. Wilder didn't sell him, nor did he sell McBurnie.
As for getting the best out of strikers, Campbell left Stoke on a free because they didn't rate him.
Wilder was literally KNOWN for getting the best out of average players, dont let Brewster, Moore and probably Cannon skew that.
