Kieffer Moore cannot play for this club again

Sack the fucking lot. Starting with Wilder, JLT and then Moore. Just not good enough.

But there were others "off it" today. Choudhury, Souza, Hamer, Burrows, Peck......that second half was abysmal, we all knew what was coming and it fucking came.

Pathetic
I agree it was fairly simply pathetic. Manager and players bottled it with a super defensive second half.
I did think that Choudhury stuck to his task well though even if Brewster and Brooks left him wide open and 2 on 1 on quite a few occasions

He obviously had a terrible game. Cost us in more than one way. But what the 💢 was he doing on the pitch? Leaving him on instead of Campbell is completely incomprehensible.
He had a terrible game and isn’t a very effective striker. He rarely scores goals. We have contracted him for years. Painful

We were utterly perplexed round where I sat when Campbell got subbed off and not Moore.

Considering Moore's piss poor failure to do a simple pass to Campbell (and subsequent cock up) when they were up against the keeper, it was a weird (very Wilder) sub, considering Campbell's the guy who actually scored and scores for us and looked the more likely to score again in that 2nd half compared with Moore.

Campbell has never ever completed 90 minutes for us.
He was absolutely fucked.

Thought he was ok first half, won a few headers and no one was really feeding off them.

The headed save in real time from my seat looked outstanding so not sure if KM could have placed it any better.

Yes, he gave the ball away badly for the winner, but we did that frequently in midfield most of the second half. They upped their tempo and we couldn’t match it.

My view of it, anyway.
So when he's done that, we put him in some imaginary 'hold up the ball' roll and leave him on the pitch. Which he never does, and has never worked.

I swear most see something I do not, or just remember him spinning a defender once early in the season. Once. It doesn't work, he can't do it.

Why can't our best striker play 90minutes?

Premier league football is worth leaving Campbell, Brewster and Hamer on. If they get injured at least they have earnt £200m. It’s particularly relevant when the subs are a huge drop off. I still maintain that Campbell at 70% is a good 40% to 50% better than a fully fit Tom Cannon.

Agreed. We’ve got to move on and get better players. And ideally a few with bigger hearts and a bit more desire too. He can f**k off for me, injury prone, old and never scores
He scored in our previous game😄 Then also won the penalty leading to the Bristol City player been sent off.
He shouldn't be our main striker, but someone coming off the bench or starting the odd game in 3 game week period, like Ipswich used him last season.

Missed huge chunks of the season didn’t he?
He’s too old to be effective at this level or the one above.
He’s Injury prone.
Also Football’s moved on. You need players with pace, strength and some football intelligence up front. His performance today was down there with Conor Sammon. He will turn into a joke goal shy striker like Chris Porter.
Yet he is first name on the team sheet under Wilder.

Exactly this. Went 1-0 up and instead of keeping the high press with players pushing up we reverted to shit housing drop deep tactics.
If this was the gameplan Wilder instructed he should be fired.
Sunderland were there for the taking should we have continued in the way we started.
Campbell and Moore were both exhausted. A competent manager would have replaced them both, brought Davies on for the injured Hamer, and continued with the high press with fresh players.

But instead we drop deep, waste time and hit it long and hope for the best while players in key positions are running on fumes.

Kieffer if perfect for Wilder's dinosaur tactics. Let's get back McBurnie then and use him in the same way....lump a long ball up the pitch and hope for the best.

This has to stop.

It’s very raw now Blades, but looking for a scapegoat is counter productive. When the dust has settled we’ll realise Kieffer Moore wasn’t the sole reason we lost at Wembley…As a team we clearly bottled it, making so many mistakes, lacking composure in front of goal and allowing ourselves to be over run in midfield is why we lost. We simply kept handing the initiative back to a very ordinary team.

Wilder signing Moore and canon with his decision to keep Moore on is the reason wilder has to go.

Shocking decisions

It’s clear to everyone that Campbell is carrying a niggling injury and is unable to complete a full game.

We bottled it by doing what we've done all season and sat back protecting a 1-0 lead. Fair enough if we're doing it during added time but we do it from about the 60th minute and it's been painful to watch this season.

However, Moore refusing to play an easy pass to Campbell to put him through, dallying on the ball (as he does so often) and wasting a chance to put the game to bed was selfish and a disgrace from an experienced player.

He then goes and absolutely bottles it right at the end. The balls played to him and he has so much space, yet instead of controlling the ball and turning to go for a winner, he attempts to play a first time ball to a team mate with three players around him and ends up creating the winner for the opposition. Unjustifiable!

Yes, the final nail in our coffin was his misplaced pass to gift them the winner.

It seems to be our mindset that we have to play negative backwards passes when our main striker should be aiming to turn in the space he had and at least run to the corner if he is isolated, as he was.

That would possibly have drawn a daft foul from the defender or run the clock down.

Our capitulation yesterday was akin to the Leeds match at the Lane, with far greater consequences.

I sort of agree that he’s not the only reason we lost, but he’s perhaps the reason we didn’t win.
By rights, he should have buried that header. It was a great save I know - but he gave him the chance to save it.
On at least 2 occasions, a simple/early pass from him to others would have created clear goal scoring opportunities. Instead his dithering led to scrambles & the moment was gone.
That pass for their winner. What the absolute fuck was he thinking?
Yes, others didn’t have great games.
Yes, fitness, subs & tactics were poor.
Yes, midfield struggled all 2nd half.
But if Moore does better with 1 or even 2 of those critical moments……
I know it’s an ‘if’ but we don’t put teams to bed because we’re just not clinical. And yesterday Moore wasn’t clinical when he needed to be.
