Ok then. We are not good enough when it comes to playing football and playing the nice stuff, but then why aren't we going down, kicking, fighting and showing some bollocks in getting relegated.

Last night shocked me for the simple fact, that when Scunthorpe equalised the heads visibly dropped and for the second half we didn't have the stomach for the fight, we didn't go down to a defeat fighting and battling against it, and its disgraceful that when we are in a relegation battle, and last night was an absolute must win game.

Generally in my lifetime of watching the Blades i've seen a sides that might not be the best, but sides that know their limitations and make up for it with guts, passion and the stomach for the fight. Last night those battling qualities wasn't there, and that is the biggest part of the problem.

At the moment we are sleepwalking in to relegation, and drifting aimlessly in to League 1, and it seems nobody seems to care enough to pull their finger out, put a shift in, and fight it.

Because, Im sad to say, the team is a buch of spineless fannies. You cant show what you havent got.

I would guess their is more post op transexuals with more bollocks that those set of overpaid fucktards last night

As I commented on Saturday, John Gannon would walk into this team.

I've said this a lot over the past few weeks, but it really does show how much we miss Chris Morgan. I would be tempted to say that if he had played all the way through this season, we wouldn't be in the bottom three.

The four at the back have no leadership and the goalkeeper is a shambles.

Im not so sure, Morgs was looking a bit as though age was catching up with him before the injury.

One thing that has struck me thinking back over the season is how short on invention, excitement, adventure, we are. I remember as a kid Ian Bryson would get the ball out wide and the whole ground would rise to its feet looking to see where Deane was. Whenever Agana got the ball, and later Glyn Hodges, you could feel the backs of 18,000 people stiffen a bit.

We dont have anything approaching that now. The 'tap tap tap punt out for a goal kick' stuff we play doesnt inspire your arse off the seat in expectation. Its all so bloody dull.

Possibly, but I'd wager he wouldn`t have let the ball bounce at 2-0 up last night. Morgan (even in his waning form) is a lot better than Collins.

Even Tongey & Nuddy in 02-03 did the same. It all samcks of a complete and utter lack of creativity.

Where's the Selly-O-Meter and it's updates? Need to compare it to the currently-on-minus-22 version.

It got too depressing... I may update later if I'm in the mood after 5-a-side at lunch

Think its the total lack of bolox thats pissing most Blades off ,weve always been a blood and guts set of fans ,watered down a bit by the premiership bandwaggoners ,and we expect our teams to be at leat that even if they are lacking in ability.

This present set had given up the ghost before Christmas and coupled with McCabes obvious capitulation Blades fans are finding it hard to take .

I personally dont think Adams was the man to turn it around ,that said I dont know who could have ,the side is made up of has beens ,never will be`s and loanees .

The best I can see is that we turn it on next season and get back on track straight away ,the worst I can see is years in the wilderness .

Win or lose we`ll have some booze ,if we draw we`ll have some more ,at least we have that to look forward to.

Might just be me but I thought we came out showing decent spirit in the 2nd half. Quite obviously there is a huge lack of ability and I think the manager is a joke but in terms of putting a shift in or whatever we want to call it I haven't got any complaints.

Quinny put a couple of brilliant crosses in, Yeates got in two great shooting positions, Cresswell made a total mess of a half chance. Nowt to rave aboyut by any stretch but it wasn't a capitulation caused by a lack of passion imo.

Collins gave one of worst performances I have seen for a long time at this level.

that or he was already injured and trying to play through it?
we should have a strictly NO LOANEES policy from now on.. unless arsenal want to lend us fabregas of course :)
