It appears we have gone back to the same kick off we used when Blackwell was last here, kick off and play a ball to the byline for BT to try and win a header. Most of the time we lose the ball and yesteday it gave Reading the advantage to get at us from the start.

It's about time we started varying it!

The exact same thing we did when we last played them at home and they scored in 17 seconds.

i fucking hate that kick off, just keep the ball, whats the point in just launching the ball out that way for the sake of it, i thought we were supposed to be a footballing team? we are far from that i can tell you

Yeah why not just pass it round as if the ball has just been thrown out to one of the players.

Its suppose to be tactical. If we win the ball we are down there end of the pitch. If BT misses the header its a throw to them so we try and box them in straight away.

Yeah I think we know that.

Very rarely if he does win the header, there's no one to pick the flick on up.

speed should aim for the corner flag not just after the dugout. Give them the ball right up there end, charge up and deploy camp.

I'd suggest we pass the ball back to Naughton. He can then try to pick out one of our forwards or midfielders with a decent pass.

Easy this football lark.

:)

Calm down comandor Keenzy :p

Gotta agree it is abit daft though, few passes, let them come forward and get comfy, then just knock it forward to one of the runners.

that kick off is a complete waste of time 9 times out of 10 it goes straight out the other time BT flicks onto mister nobody.

keeping the ball and making the opposition work would be so much better
