Yep, as a more general point if someone for example is a racist knob and you call them a racist knob, its long accepted that the racism gets a free pass as you’ve used the word knob. The people who aren’t knobs are held to a higher standard than the knobs, which seems perfectly reasonable to me and an entirely rational way of going about our daily business.
