We make it to number 4.

I'm a Sheffield United fan and was born less than a mile from the ground. I remember going down there with my brother as a junior Blade and that brilliant atmosphere before games as you'd walk through all the fans. My brother is about 10 years older than me and I recall being in The Kop - which was standing at the time - and my brother trying to keep hold of me because the fans were swaying around singing songs. Seeing that badge with two blades on it has always meant a great deal to me.

This a list of stadiums that Davies has played at which is fair enough.
But I think clubs like Dortmund, Celtic, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Galatasary, Fenerbahce, Besiktas, Lech Poznan, Boca Juniors, River Plate would have something to say about that list.
He's obviously never played at the Swill otherwise with it's 40,000 fanatical fans that would have surely made the list.

His dad, Cyril played football for Sheffield Deaf in the 1960s and 1970s but before I started to play for them in 1979. I have never met him properly and many said he was a very good footballer and he played for Birley Amateurs under Derek Dooley's management (Derek mentioned him in his autobiography). Cyril died in 2005

Nice to be in the top ten stadiums.
Who the hell picked the photograph...all the other stadiums are rammed....we have a virtually empty end.

Wow look at the leg room they get in Toronto, now I am jealous

I may have missed something, but I recall him getting booed every time he played against us. Never understood why as I knew he was a blade.

Wasn’t he set to sign for us had we not lost to wolves in the play off final many moons ago?

I had the pleasure of playing in the same team (all be it for only a handful of games).During a period where it was pre season he came to play for us (brunsmeer athletic). He was about 15 at the time. Even then he used to look head and shoulders better than anyone on the pitch. He was a nice lad too. We played a trial match against Bolton remember ...I supplied him with a few good crosses to get on the end of :)

Of course there are better stadiums, that's not the point of the article. It's about the feeling you get at certain grounds. I've had the piss took out of me by Wednesday fans because they can't understand how a night game is different to a Saturday game - it is! I wish we could play all our home games on a Tuesday night infront of >25k fans.
