Other than a smart Hat-trick against QPR , Billy could not score for Blackwell and looked a bit re-stricted , in his play , Blackwell sent him to Donny , where he could not stop scoring and made O`driscoll a sort after manager .
Agree , Our football under Blackwell was shite to watch , granted he came in and steadied the ship after the Robson capt.disaster experiment went tits up . He set the side up us up as compact unit / hard to beat team , but we had no width whatsoever , everything down the centre to Henderson & when Billy played he had to try and get on end of flick ons or feed off scraps . It's no was no surprise to me that Billy was a success under O'Driscoll at Donnie, they played with width & had some creativity considering they were a team half our budget at the time , Hence no surprises last season under CW and playing expansive attacking football with wide men that Mr Sharp was on fire . Summed Blackwell up for me when we got Britton from Swansea looked a fish out water under him , returned Swansea & form came back , then he brought in Howard & Harper again average at best . I know at the end KM had cut his budget but it was bloody awful to watch.

There are NO ways of committing suicide without involving a third party.

Presuming you have no friends or family, you go into the wilderness, miles from anywhere, some place you will never be found, and top yourself there. Your remains will be devoured by wild animals, and will never be discovered. Does that work?

All these stories going around about Blackwell, and words like "cunt" and "wanker" being thrown in for good measure. It's a shame he's not here to defend himself. Actually I'm amazed at the amount of hatred for the guy.

The football wasn't pretty, but he didn't get us relegated or come close. Throughout his time we were always flirting with promotion or the play offs. And let's not forget the very successful period when he was Warnock's number two.

I was one of those who celebrated after he was sacked but I hold no grudge against him now. He did his best for the club. But for some reason the hatred for him eclipses that directed at Mickey Adams, David Weir, Nigel Adkins - none of whom got us within touching distance of promotion or even into the Play Offs.

It's generally good to meet people in person before you decide whether they are a "wanker" or a "cunt". I've never met Blackwell, but I prefer to remember him as someone who did a decent job but was ultimately unsuccessful.
