Perhaps, but I can't recall what other alternatives were when we signed each of those mentioned.

Rudy Gestede is a weird one, at times he can seem unplayable but he doesn't show it nearly enough. If he did come in, I think it would be to get the best out of our other forwards rather than to fire us into the play-offs himself.

Warnock has always rated Zohore but he's been injured and also Zohore hasn't done much when fit. But he was their main threat up top last season and he's still young enough to improve. People shot me down for the suggestion but we're far more likely to be able to sign Gary Madine on loan from Cardiff than we are Zohore. I think Madine could do a job for us but I seem to be on my own here, or people can't get past the fact he's supposed to be a bit of a tosser but for half a season I'm sure the rest of the lads would put up with him if he does well for us. I don;t care one bit about the fact he used to play for Wednesday either.

I said for years we should sign Leon and for £130,000 that hasn't turned out bad in my view and he was supposed to be a trouble maker as well and of course had his Wednesday past.

I don’t actually think it’s the Wednesday history, we’ve had plenty of pretty good players from them over the years it’s more to do with his personality and off field behaviour.

I understand what you're saying. He's not my first choice as I'd prefer someone who can do a bit more than Madine, like Zahore can, but I doubt we will get Zahore to be honest.

There’s no ‘supposed to be’ about the Washing Machine. His tosser credentials are very well established.

All about opions Stretch and others and I knew I'd get pelters for suggesting him but I rate him as a player. We've not been linked with Madine by the way, calm down! It was merely a suggestion by me. If as you say the rest of the squad wouldn't want him then I'd be fully behind you in not wanting him. If he was to cause trouble in the team spirit likewise I'd be against it. And looking at his record I can see why many wouldn't want him. As a player though I think he'd offer us something and he was never my first choice when I mentioned a few names, I think Zohore for example is a better player. I didn't originally suggest him because I thought Warnock would want to keep him.

As Harry used to say, when he signed a player he didn't sign a player to marry his daughter he signed a player to do a job and nothing else. Wilder has also said he doesn't need to be mates with them either, but I totally get the players need harmony and if that was disturbed then as I say I'd be totally against it. Hope that clarifies it somewhat.

I'l finish with that he seems to have been out of trouble at Cardiff and Bolton and before that Blackpool. That doesn't mean he's no a bad lad though I agree.
