Must have been a bit disheartening for Kennedy to not even make the subs bench on Sunday, when the loanee Freeman did. He received a lot of praise for his performance against P'boro and although I doubt he expected to be in the team, with Harry coming back, he must have expected to be on the bench.

You've got a good point there but I'm sure Nigel will have spoken to Kennedy and I'm certain we'll see more of him before the season ends...believe Nigel rates him...

I think it was probably due to Brayford being a doubt until late on.

good point I hadn't thought of that, maybe he's "on a promise" from nige to play tomorrow eve?

I think Kennedy will play tonight and probably freeman as well.

If Harry doesn't get booked and suspended in the next game or two I can see him being left out just before the Semi.

Kennedy will get plenty of chances in the next few weeks.

It's going to take the whole squad to get through all of the fixtures, especially with cards, and injuries or knocks. They will all get their turn.

I believe Freeman had more experience at Championship level and they were playing a Championship side, also, he could cover different positions if necessary and was therefore picked as a sub for the Cup game.
