To not have his own song?
I started supporting us the season before we dropped to the 4th, so went throughout King Keiths reign, but i can't remember him ever having one.
Or maybe he did and i just can't remember, and the question is invalid and i'm stupid. 🤔

He did, you can’t remember. you’re stupid and the question was invalid.

It went:

“Keith Edwards
Keith Edwards
Keith Edwards

Keith Edwards
Keith Edwards
Keith Edwards

Keith Edwards
Keith Edwards
Keith Eswards

Keith Edwards,
Keith Edwards!”

All to the tune of “Stars and Stripes Forever”, by John Philip Sousa.

We were innovative in those days.

Was just about to post the same!

Think we had a few for him over the years, but the one Revolution posted was the main one that I recall.

Ah. Fair enough. Though it barely deserves to be called a song does it.
And i do remember that now it's been mentioned. Think my brain is dying.

As the players took to the field for the 5 minute, pre kick off warm up, the Division 4 personal song hierarchy went something like:

Keith Edwards
Bob Hatton
Tony Kenworthy
Ian Porterfield
John Mcphail
Steve Neville (if he was lucky)

.... all songs no-nonsense, with no excuses not to know the words.

Same era was the other great innovative song

We’ve got Collin Collin Colin Morris
On the wing on the wing

I miss this, when did we stop singing players' names like this pre kick off? Or do we and I'm just deaf?

Loved the Bassett days:

Deano
Tony Tony Agana
England's number one
Ohh Ahh Bob Booker
Sometimes Ian Bryson got one
Vinnie Jones too

The one I remember was...

Nobody puts the ball in the net like Edwards...
Keith Edwards ... Ooh Ooh Ooh
Agree with Knownowt I can’t remember a regularly sung song for Edwards either. I was pretty young, so maybe didn’t here.

However do remember the nobody puts the ball into the net song.

I remember when he equalised against Everton in the league cup all three home sides of the ground sending out a very loud Keith Edwards chant.

I seem to remember this, sung to the tune of Land of hope and glory.

We’ve got Hope and Currie
Woodward’s on the wing.
We love Sheffield Uni—ted
And Eddy is the king.

What’s the song I could just hear yesterday about Anel? I was wondering how his surname could be incorporated into a song.

Seem to think we sang something similar for Woody too.

Is the Keith Eswards line the chorus?

That was from the Bachelor's Cup A Soup advert that was on TV at the time: "Nobody puts, soup in a cup, like Bachelor's Cup-a-Soup". Note: there was no "Ooh, ooh ooh" on the advert.
