Last night demonstrated the danger of relying on one fit senior keeper. Madness.

Amissah did ok when he came on but he could easily have dropped a bollock and cost us the game. We know what the fans are like with a player who has a poor game and do we really want to throw a youngster in the firing line. Our 5th choice keeper, I believe. Look what happened to Long.

Whatever is up with Wes, he fairly regularly needs treatment for something or other, which is not normal for a keeper.

We need to be signing someone at least until January. Whether that's a loan or permanent. Main priority, for me.

So let’s say that Amissah is that 2nd choice keeper. Let’s say he’s the keeper that the club has faith in to do a job.

Wes played pretty much every game last season after we binned off Olsen. He was highly underrated before that and he was almost written off too based on past reputation…

It’s not to say that Amissah is the messiah but it sounds like he is 😂

Wes is ill not injured.
We have three keepers in the squad so I cannot see how we can fit another one in.
Amissah is not our 5th choice and he is 21 as well as looking confident and competent .

Wes hasn't missed a first class game since he got into the team and had a stomach virus last night.

Davies isn't that far away is he?

Not sure Corporal Jones would be telling Napoleon not to panic just yet.

I know Amissah didnt have too much to do last night, but I wouldnt lose sleep over knowing that he'd have to be our 1st choice keeper for the next few games.

What would worry me is the defensive line infront of him 😅

What a stupid post
We've got two keepers and one not yet fit
Wes is ill and will be back for next game and if he isn't we will use an emergency loan

Stop being such a drama queen

It's a wonder any club bothers having more than one keeper given there are magical emergency loans available of great keepers.

What a bizzare interpretation
You seem to be saying it wouldn't matter if Wes broke his leg against Hull next Sunday because we can use get an emergency loan in and we have another senior keeper who might bit fit soon? A guy with ligament damage who is still in a brace?

Do you not think it would be wiser to get someone until January than take the gamble that there might be a decent keeper available on an emergency loan?

Bit of a jump from what I've said to what you think I ' seem ' to be saying
Broken legs take longer to recover from than the shits

No. We can only have a squad of 23 plus youngsters and at 21 I am not sure Amissah is now “young” as the cut off used to be 23.
We don’t have room for a 4th keeper especially if we bring in a Fleck cover

“…but he could easily have dropped a bollock…”

A bit like Hendo v Villa or Liverpool? Didn’t seem to do him any harm, or tarnish his relationship with us supporters.

Amissah sounds like Our Messiah to me

By the sounds of it, it’s not a keeper we need, it’s a batch of Imodium!

When your arse starts to gripe and it takes a hundred wipes, that’sa Foderingham…

When your arse holds a grudge and you shit liquid sludge, that’sa Foderingham…
