Question is when is he going to realise this ? Or has he already ?

My view ( with other goverment appointments) he has perhaps lost interest . With having no infinity to the club or indeed UK football, you can only spend so much money , until you think enough is enough . Hobby or investment , he perhaps cannot see no end to getting any return. Plus results , mediorce football , can make all of us frustrated , question our loyalty . Must be worst if its your money , that looks like its been pissed up the wall , or its like a running tap .

If we were showing any intent we would have pulled all stops out to get Hammond or equal . Somewhre the blockage has to be caused by the financial institutions , funder direct , accountancy projections with overall losess ,

This situation cannot be down to football alone , its like we have a internal transfer embargo.

Think youre spot on there all the signs certainly point that way

Don't have a problem IF we have run out of money - I have a massive problem with how Adkins is shaping the team.
Falling into the same rap as Clough did - diddy men in midfield.
If we can't bring anyone in, then he needs a formula that works - what he is doing at the moment is cross your fingers and hope.
He has the players in the squad - what we appear to have like Clough is someone who seems as belligerent as Clough.
Adkins needs to work it out and if means altering his ways then so be it - from what I have heard, he and the players "lost" the fans at the end of the Oldham game - that is dangerous territory to be in after 10+ games.

Fulwood you are correct . I have used the word that Adkins is winging it . He still doesnt know his best starting 11 , and he does not have the players within the squad to sort out the defence and midfield IMO.

What we have and get now , will be the same until the end of the season. The league is so inconsistant , we may still be in the mix. This could be down to luck more than good judgement.

Are we any further forward from being under Clough - No.

Is he losing the goodwill of the fans - Yes.

We have 2no home games , and again the pressure we have put on ourselves is imense , and we haven't the players or the character to cope with it.

We're lucky he doesn't watch the games. It looks a lot more rosy if you just go off the stats.

phippsy is still insisting on this now
Maybe if it was me and mccabe had promised to wipe yhe clubs debts if i invested in the first team
Then i would do that and let him pay the interest on his loans himself

Think Phippsy is claiming its cost them £13M for this mediocrity.

Or based on McC's investment in Chandu Blades and his recent £1.2B deal with the Chinese expect a big bog roll factory going up somewhere in 2017?

Maybe when people stop talking about promotion and realise that we're a bog-standard, middle of the table club?

I've been to all the home games and haven't seen a convincing performance yet. Most - Rochdale, Chezzie etc. could easily have gone the other way. Maybe (but I doubt it) when we have a defeat so utterly shameful that the board, players and manager finally pull their fingers out. Fleetwood tomorrow, anyone? They stuffed Burton at the weekend and are said to have 'genuine quality' in the team.

Are you saying that the blades and bog roll have the same intent or common denominator at the moment.:D

Whilst I agree that we have no right to beat these teams because we are at their level these are all sides who have improved in the past few years whilst we are haven't. The staure of the club surely means we should have improved just as much if not more then the clubs we are up against
that's bollocks. All this talk of crowds and stature doesn't earn any points as I delighted in Leeds fans for years when they were banging on about their crowds.

It really pisses me off when people say we should be beating Bury, Oldham, Southend, Burton, Walsall, Yeovil (insert your own name) because they're crappy little clubs and we get huge crowds and have a more illustrious history than them.

Too many of our fans need to learn some respect.

We are where we are for a reason and that is that we are simply not good enough on the pitch.

I'm not into allocating blame but it lies in debatable shares with players, past and present, managers past and present and the board. Personally I don't give a monkeys about the actual allocation because that is just negative.

I believe that we have targets that will come in in January but at the moment we have a large squad that are underperforming on the pitch and we can not just shift players out because that's what we need to do, and like it or not we have budgets to work to. It has also crossed my mind that the players we want will need to be replaced by their current employers who may not be able to that themselves by January.

If you can't accept any of the above then tough titties, carry on whinging, but at least show some respect for other clubs that you perceive to be so inferior to us that we should be walking all over them,
.
