just like to mention the thanks Sheffield United got, especially the fans for the minutes applause at the Swindon match, the family got great comfort from it and they thank everyone...
it was a beautiful service and thanks to Billy and his partner who attended
God bless x

Unless you have suffered personally I would think the vast majority of us can only imagine the pain of losing your own child. Although a very small gesture it's nice to hear the family took some heart from it.
Sleep tight brave little man

As you say, impossible to imagine. Breaks my heart just thinking about it.

RIP Kasabian

There was one on Tuesday ,of a young lad of 18 in Worksop we know who took his own life a few weeks ago. Unbearable ,got another one tomorrow for a friend of my parents who was always an 'Aunty' ,that will be different as it will be more expected and a look back on her life but equally sad.

As someone once said to me Sitters, "There's never a good time to die" and while every death is painful for the loved ones it must be particularly hard for those that have lost someone way before there time to come to terms with

No one would ever go to the funeral of someone younger than themself in an ideal world.

My lad was at Billy's coaching camp and he still made time to be there for 67 kids (was chatting to lots of them and their parents) who attended before he left for the funeral.

Class act and a really good role model for kids. Footballers get a bad name a lot of the time but Billy has shown many times how much he cares about this club and the community he is part of.

A Captain in absolutley every sense of the word.

That for me would be the utterly worst thing. Especially a parent burying a child. you can't imagine it, just gut wrenching.

My worst nightmare would be my kids going before me, I can't imagine the hurt you would feel, every parent would give their life for their child.
I remember a bm member in this position, db I think it was, and my heart went out to that young man and his family.

R.I.P all the little angels taken too early. :(
