He got no joy off Geary so they moved him to Kozluk.

Can't remember him doing that Rabona cross. Prick

I was watching that all ready to post that they'd omitted his terrible miss. But to be fair they showed about 4 replays of it!

He missed one of the worst fucking sitters I've ever seen right in front of the Bramall Lane end that day. Smashed it over the bar from about a yard out with an open goal.

Did well not to retaliate after Geary smashed him into the advertising board. Not sure if I could have kept it together after such a cheap shot.

thing is his work ethic is tremendous .he tied up 3 of our defenders for the entire 90 minutes came back to his own half to pick up the ball ,and never let a miss or getting stopped by a tackle put him off coming straight back at you
I get to see him 4 times a year now Im in Spain and its awe inspiring to see the tireless effort he gives on the park

thats what makes world class players world class , they work harder than anyone else on top of having the talent

I preferred that Ronaldo to the one of today.

More entertaining, creative and still scored a lot of goals.

I was watching it and thought the exact opposite. I actually prefer the more direct version of today than the one on that video.

The one on that video liked to do about 65 step overs before putting in a terrible cross or losing the ball*. He liked to beat a man and then go back and beat him another 3 times before doing anything. There was a lot of flair, which looks brilliant but is completely unnecessary.

The Ronaldo of today seems to have dropped a lot of all the unnecessary elements and is much more ruthless.

*all of his crosses weren't terrible, obviously

Some of the stuff he did was unnecessary, but it was entertaining and he was still extremely productive. He could dribble and take players on better than he does now. He plays more centrally now which doesn't give him as much space to do the things he used to, he focuses more on scoring goals - it's amazing how he's become such a natural goalscorer. But I did prefer watching the other version of him.

The score graphic in the top left is rather peculiar. Never seen one before with the score slapped in the middle of the home team's name with no mention of the away team.

Really? A few desperate blocks and one tackle.

Hope we do a better job than that on Bolton tmw!
If you know football then you would understand. He hardly had a sniff all game and when he did he fluffed his chances. He missed them chances because of the pressure United put on him. There's a clip where he nearly gets pas Kazim-Richards but Kazim recovers and blocks the cross, to me that shows geat desire, players you would not expect to be doing 'a job'.

Bottom line is those who really know football will see the point I was making.

Talking of the Coca-Cola Kid one like this would do tomorrow -

Haha. Someone disagrees with you so you go straight to "those who know football". The days will be long in the forum if that's your attitude.

Pretty much every clip the Blades are struggling after his first ouch and hardly anyone gets near him. He is clearly far too good even in thes clips. There's no shame in that, he's a world class player, but I don't think we do a job on him. That said I wasn't at the game.

But even the most biased or rose tinted fans couldn't say we put pressure on him for those 2 sitters. The one he spoons over the bar is sheer luck on our part. There's no one anywhere near him.
