Waffle Wilder has made plenty of good big signings every one bar Brewster has been decent you could say
And to be fair some he wanted but we missed out on have gone on to establish themselves as pl quality players (Watkins,Cash) Brewster has been catastrophic for both parties though

As long as we get promoted because the financial alternative if we don’t looks bleak.

If not for the 2pt deduction , we'd be 4 points clear , which is stunning
After virtually a complete rebuild about 2 minutes ago.
Anyone must admit that CW. can put a team together with only pennies to spend on fees.
To have this team spirit after such a short time is nothing less than miraculous.
A bit like the Harry Bassett rebuild in 1988 , but of course a lot of them came from his Wimbledon days

This doesn't mean that I agree with all his tactical & selection decisions , but he has given us some identity after the devastation of last season
That's Wilder's MO.

Some of the best players he's signed have been free agents and been picked up from leagues below. McGoldrick is, in my mind, one of the best signings the club has ever made yet nobody wanted him when we did.

He's no good at walking into something like Middlesbrough or Watford that just needs a tweak. Its something that needs wholesale changes and rebuilding that is where Wilder excels.

What he needs to be able to do is, on the rare occasion that we do have a bit of cash to spend, is to be wise with it and learn from his mistakes because one of them is still here, still injured, still being paid and still hasn't scored a goal in about 3 years!

He's a really nice bloke and has just been unlucky with injuries.
