A fantastic win away at Wigan just before Christmas.

I don't seem to remember much about the return fixture that season though.

I was there and recall the entire blades following (probably around 2 or 3 thousand) belting out "WE'RE ALL GOING ON A EUROPEAN TOUR"

I was in wigan a few months ago and walked past a boozer me and my mate spent a few hours in after that game it was shutdown which was no surprise it was a right shithole

Yep. Because of Kozluk.

Kozzy had been nipping (yes, actual nipping, with his fingers) Lee McCulloch all game. McCullock swung round and threw a punch and when he realised it was Morgs apologised saying he thought it was Kozluk.

Hulse scored at the opposite end to us. In the 2nd half we were awarded a penalty and the ref subsequently changed his mind. It wasn't a penalty in a million years but that extra goal etc.

On MOTD that night Morgan, with a right bloody shiner was interviwed and just passed off the incident with MCCulloch as 'part of the game.'

I think it was Hansen and Lawrensen (who were the pundits that night) full of admiration for this old fashioned player in comparison to the foreign mardy contingent they normally saw in the Premiership.

The only real fight I've ever had playing football was a centre half doing that to me. It's worse than a leg breaking challenge, it drives you mad.

Apparently Kozluk did the same to Julio Baptista all game at the lane when we beat Arsenal 1-0. Morgs said he could just see Baptista fidgeting about uncomfortably all game and he had a stinker and it turns out that’s why.

That game at Wigan was the closest I've ever parked to the away end at a football match, I swear I could lock and unlock the car with the remote from my seat

Mind you, it took about an hour to get off the car park after the match....
