Anybody know how to get this and which restaurants are the selected ones, it doesn't say on the Blades website we went yesterday to the one at the bottom of Granville Road with our kids and their Junior Blades cards, the staff there had never heard of this promotion.

Don't know the answer to the question I'm afraid, but giving children a discount on junk food seems to be a rather strange thing to do, with the current focus on childhood obesity. I would have thought football clubs should be helping to get children fit rather than getting them fat.

Indeed.

To be fair though, if you are going to stuff your kid full of shit you might as well pay as little as possible for it. Put the savings to one side and help pay for their gastric band when it gets taken off the NHS.

My children do on the whole eat healthily, we always try to ensure they get their 5 a day of fruit n veg. Our fruit bowl is always full and all meals are home cooked, with fresh ingredients, no packaged microwave stuff in our house. However being country bumpkins fast food is not available on the doorstep except for the local chippy, so when we as a family venture into the bright lights of Sheffield a trip to McDonalds is a little bit of a treat for us all. The kids usually have fishfingers (neither like burgers) a fruit bag instead of chips and fruit juice not fizzy pop, so hardly stuffing themselves with shit.

My comment wasn't meant as a dig at you!:) I don't think there's any harm in the occasional McDonalds (and I'm more than partial to the occasional one) but I'm not sure that the club should be actively encouraging it.
