Palace open to a transfer for JRS no futue at the club allegedly

If we go up he's definitely one to consider. If not we'll have no chance.

They seem really keen on Jobe Bellingham and, more importantly, Ben Doak.
Presume they'd like the cash for JRS to fund a move for the latter. They probably regret not cashing in when Leeds offered daft money in the Summer.
I can't see anybody stumping up that sort of cash again in January. His form hasn't justified it.

He's not worth anything like the £15 million Leeds bid form him. You'd be mad to pay more than a few million.

I dont think its all his fault his form has dropped off.

He was playing well, which means hes now a marked man and doubled up on.

Its up to the management to either encourage him to keep two occupied, thus creating space for others or to help him by getting more players forward quicker, so its harder for him to be doubled up on.

If we could negotiate a first dibs kind of deal in the 8-10m range if promoted that would be good.

Ie renegotiate the loan in to a loan to buy

We need to move him about a bit more and get him into gaps. Like said he gets rouble teamed and gilchrist style doesn’t help that. Against Sunderland when we went down to 10 and late on he moved to the left and became dangerous.

100% agree with this. Hamer goes where he wants, I'd like to see JRS with a bit more license to do the same. O'Hare, though much improved recently, needs to get closer to them at times to link the play.
Duffy was a master at finding those little pockets and always being available.

How much will they want £7-£10million? He ain’t worth that … happy for someone else to take the risk

Don’t think he’s shown half the levels he’s capable of, his form began to drop off when he started playing a lot of minutes which was strange because we have a very good player in Brooks he can rotate with to keep him fresh and more importantly fit. Certainly one to look at in the summer, I reckon there will be a clamour for us to sign him come the end of the season after he’s produced several top performances in the second part of the season.

Sort of player that needs his own bistro table and chair on the right side of the pitch. Got progressively worse and more lazy as his game time went on after a really bright start. He's very young, I know but that's my opinion.

Can't remember the last time he actually took a defender on and got to the line to get a cross in but maybe that's been coached out of him in favour of our typical 'tippy tappy', stop, go back and recycle mentality at home.

Nowhere near a Premier League player and I'd like to see him go back if it freed up a loan spot we could use to better effect.

He's gone missing in our last couple of games, can't remember him touching the ball, useless, get rid.

Yes I get that he’s young, but he has to learn, and sharpish, that he has to help out his full back when we’re defending. He made Seriki look poor away at West Brom, which he certainly ain’t.

Short term memories everyone. Just like to point out a certain James Mactee. 29th December vs Blackpool 2022 away he scored that unbelievable full length of the pitch goal and that was when we all sat up and thought, hang on there is a player in this lad. Fast forward to the end of the season and he was one of our best players (6 goals and 2 assists later). Prior to Blackpool he had 2 goals and 1 assists in 18 games he had played. Including that stinker vs Luton.

JRS has 4 goals and 2 assists so far this season, which is double that at roughly the same gameweek as mactee was.

There is a serious player in there who just needs coaching with confidence. Id take him 100% and we would be daft not to if offered to us for a good price.
