Yep, but nothing out of the ordinary - 5 and 8. They wouldn't be near where they are if they had a winger of normal output in place of Morris.

It's so bizarre...a Bradford cast-off who has plodded around the lower leagues for 5 or 6 years suddenly hits 15 goals by November. Not sure if he will attract loads of interest TBH as his career has been so average up to now. Who's to say he's not another Stuart Beavon?

Don't get me wrong I know we have no chance of getting him, but we should try. Launch a bid and some other club in the championship will no doubt feel the need to snatch him off our toes. If we don't get him at least Scunthorpe don't either.

That's true, but 15 goals from one player at this stage of the season is what is setting them apart. Would be amazed if they keep hold of him or if he keeps scoring at this rate into 2017.

Hes just going through a purple patch which some footballers have when everything they hit seems to go in. Michael Brown had one for us in 2003. The fact is that he will be playing with his confidence off the scale at the moment and probably feels like he cant miss. Give him a few ropey games and a few games without a goal, or even a couple of slight knocks which he will undoubtedly get during the season and i will expect to see his goalscoring dry up for a while. Wouldnt hurt mind if someone came in for him in January if he is still doing the business to unsettle him.

Yes mate, he was supposed to have been training with us and for some reason ended up at Scunthorpe.

To me, the fact they have three players in the top scorers list tells me they won't be dropping out of the top two league places anytime soon.

There were reports that we were interested but it was just a mix up with the papers getting the wrong SUFC. There was never a consideration between signing him or Higdon. Higdon had already been here nearly 6 months before the reports came out that we (incorrectly) were interested in Van Veen.
