Maybe after getting caught once but twice nah no well wishes from me.with the 1 year ban is it? He will turn back to dealing to make money before he can play again and probably end up inside. Don't think he can even train with a club for the year. He's gonna have stacked on a load of Timber in this 12 months "Off"

U do the crime n all that but u must have a screw loose if u mix any sport and drugs. He could b anywhere now scoring as in drugs or b in a really bad way as in realisation of what he,s done.He must have serious issues that need ironing out b4 its 2 late
Bit of an interview with Baxter from November. The full interview was in the Times (paywall): http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/former-everton-starlet-jose-baxter-9260900
He knows what he,s lost but I wonder if he ever played on coke.

If you want to find him go to his mums on sunday she has invited him to share the sunday joint

Whilst I have little sympathy with Baxter having been caught twice I wonder if our chairman and club have provided "pastoral care" and offered training facilities as part of his rehabilitation as they did for a certain, (at the time) convicted rapist?

Just saying like...

Probably wouldn't have offered training facilities to our (at the time) convicted rapist, if it was his second offence in 12 months.......

Not sure but when he comes back to the game he...

He's not allowed to train with a club due to the total ban from football.

Ched had served his sentence, Baxter is only part way through.

A bit of a difference there I think, but if you have an agenda, please don't let it stop you.

Agenda? No agenda here at all pal....just making a point.

I didn't say he should be training with anyone now, I am well aware of Baxters total ban....my point was to question whether the club had possibly offered the same level of pastoral care they did to Evans whilst banned and if, ( when he has served his time) he will be offered the same rehabilitation facilities.

Surely each situation is different though? The Club (McCabe) genuinely believed Evans at the time and probably thought of him as just a naïve lad; with Baxter they may think the same, or they may think him a total nobhead who pissed away the second chance he got from the last time. Time will tell.

I'm led to believe that Baxter is only banned from football governed by the English FA. He is free to play for any team outside their jurisdiction - ie Scotland, other European Leagues and beyond.

They offered it to Ched AFTER he left prison and had served his sentence.

If you are 'well aware' of the total ban, I don't see why you querying a hypothetical situation.
Why would they offer it Baxter part way through his sentence? Even if they did, they may well have learned the lesson to do it on the quiet.

Ched Evans was never banned from football, despite the failed Hatchet job.

Hence why I said AFTER he has served his ban....

I'm not saying that anything should be offered to Baxter at all...as you say, it was a hypothetical question...just me being a bit mischievous!

In an effort to shed some pounds, he's going on the Atkins diet, he's currently busy with a joint.

No he was on the Adkins diet, needed an injection of pace and couldn't put up with the acid comments from the kop any longer.

He's probably sat there now with cold turkey thinking about it.

we should offer him a gram and get the wanker banned for life.
