Considering Naysmith is out for another 6 weeks, Jordan Stewart isn't doing it, Taylor is injured and not up to scratch yet and Del is managing perhaps one game in 3 due to his knee problems. Isn't he worth a punt?

He's not linked with us, but he was a fans favourite at the lane.

12.05 Skysports.com understands Bristol City are lining up a move for Watford defender Jon Harley.

don't think harley is the player he was anymore don't realy think he's done much since he left the lane .

His first spell he was magnificent, he was also fantastic when he went to WHU.

However in his second spell with his, he was nowhere near as impressive.

It's also another Watford player..... ha

But would he be good for a short term deal to the end of the season?

I imagine his garbage is still better than Taylors?

plus he can pass a ball..... 2nd thoughts, he wouldn't fit in with us

He is certainly miles better than Taylor but I have to agree with the others, he has definately peaked. Ive got a few mates who support Bristol City as I lived there for a couple of years and they have asked me about him. I told them 3-4 years ago yeh its a good signing but theyre getting a dud now.

If they can revitalise him then theyre getting a good full back but even if he starts well you know he will tail off after 6 months. Its just in his nature. He's done that at every club he's been at. He will be at best a short term measure for Bristol City. Not worth looking at for us IMO.
